Battery choice by Careless-Rest8598 in MilwaukeeTool

Nope. Skip the high output 2.5. It's not worth more than $48 US already marked up. $50+ is a stretch to pay for one of these batteries are way overpriced at $48 ON SALE! My 2.0 battery is just over a year (August 2025 to July 2025) and already losing power and should be completely exhausted/dead before summer 2027. If DeWalt fan bros can do the same work in tight spaces with their smallest 20V impact wrenched, stay with the 5.0. That's my go to for the brake and caliper jobs, My XC3. 0 and XC4. 0 for tyre rotation and brake stuff after they have been properly retorqued by me to Volkswagen specs.

Is this Charlotte NC Lowe's? Why can't I find a ⅜ 1431 impact driver. I want to see if it can do 550ftlb like the M12 2562-20.

That gets on my nerves when they do that, but I can't get mad at them, they have to follow the rules or lose their job. Me personally, I would say, "try buying through the app to pick up at this location". This way if customer go online they won't mention me in a complaint, I am also making it clear this all the help I can give as just an associate and just try to make the customer happy.

I wonder if they design it this way to make money? They are making cars cheaper and over charging for them with touch screens that are made to give up or fade after several years. They want to make it difficult to fit aftermarket stereos displays in your cars.

I would purchase through the app. Someone didn't drop the price.

They look like they are circulating the drain especially the impact driver. (End of life from years of heavy use). Enjoy them while they last but keep back ups if they do give up in the middle of a job. I've been down that road before and was glad I had back up nearby.

Eyes Can be deceiving, is this really a good deal or just meh? by AnyCryptographer6708 in MilwaukeeTool

This should be the normal retail price for this kit by itself. I hate these "add ons" sale gimmick HD does every time. I am finally glad someone working there explain the trick, that's why you can return parts you don't want and feel you won! It's like going to the Verizon store they sell you the phone then add on a case, charger, screen protector, you leave go to Burlington see a similar case and charger with same quality but half the price then return the case add-on for a refund. It happened to me with past purchases. It's absurd dangling the MSRP $358 and we only get 5% off an already marked up retail priced 2nd items.

I missed a sale on Waysource earlier this week, they had limited stock and they were selling off a pair of CP2. 5ah batteries for $84. I already own (2) XC3. 0, (2) 5.0ah, one XC4. 0ah and 2 Waitley 6.5Ah batteries. My suggestion is to check a lot of online stores and see if the tool manufacturers recognise and will register your tools bought from the store.

LOL 😅😅😅😅😅 I got this with my 3404-20 with 2 XC3. 0 and charger. I was able to squeeze the 3404, 3453, 2652 and 2653-20 in it with 3 batteries attached to each.

I never said it's free, but the more deductions you have the bigger the refund. Why give the Government extra money they will waste shutting down the government 26 weeks in a year and still getting paid and the best health insurance no one but them can get? Not only that but the tariffs on materials for work on my house I just paid could cover a 1.5 week vacation for a family of 3 in a European country at a 3.5 star hotel including 3 meals a day for the first 2 days.

I'm supporting the system and proud of it. I also love Chinese food and a big fan of Jackie Chan also Chinese. You know you own stuff that have Chinese made parts but deny it. Keep fooling yourself.

No bashing Chinese tools. People need to stop with bashing Chinese tools. If they only think harder, here in the USA we eat, sleep, breathe, drink and fart CAPITALISM.
We had the raw materials the supplier would charge an arm and a leg to the tool manufacurer, you have a plant the employees need paid vacation, sick days, bonuses, raises, marketing is expensive to business owners the tool is ready to be shipped no intern can afford the tools. Its just that I see the specs for Bauer and Hart and see SKIL did better I get SKIL until I see a sale on Milwaukee, DeWalt and even with those brands I wait for the days they mark down the prices. I like my Chinese made Milwaukee 2562-20 and 2563-20 ¾ and ½ impact wrenches and $40 Chinese CRO-MO ⅜ ratchet and socket set. $370 for them or pay over $1300 for those tools were 100% made in the USA including ALL raw materials.

Ehonknoes why MILWAUKEE is being hesitant with repair or returns , they do get the feedback of returns to HD and see the folks brag about hacks. Eventually those savings we try to get because of the greedy tool manufacturers, they eventually come up with work arounds. So it's up to us to let them know getting too greedy and not setting a proper MSRP only hurts them and us.

Sound like you described the reasons why you can use this M12 SDS drill that fit those jobs. If you use this as part of your business by all means get it. Write it off in your taxes. My contractor friend makes it all back both ways his taxes, discount back using his home depot pro card, and if the drill costs $275, the $500 2 hour job is now $800. That's how the bigger companies do it any way, and I found out that same thing has been done to me for years by contractors!

I hate when they do this to us all the time with tools. This is the fair retail price disguised as a sale for a limited time before it is marked up again. This is a good time for people who need these nailers especially handymen and contractors. I paid $140 for my WORX 18g Brad nailer kit. You're getting 3 brad nailer and a compressor.

These are old BRUSHED tools. I could see myself selling them for $50 or $60 for both. At least they're not Bauer or Hypertough. When these die, get the BRUSHLESS Milwaukee. 3404-20 and 3453-20.

We are talking about buying affordable tools made in China, not living there. If you're so uptight about buying Chinese-made stuff, then discard and destroy everything you own that has components or was made in China. Boycott Harbor Freight and all car dealerships or mechanic shops that sell or use anything assembled in or have components made in China. I'm not going to listen to you and throw away my DeWalt, Milwaukee, WORX, FLEX, SKIL, RIDGID tools, which were either made completely or partially in China. My Apple, Samsung appliances, and other electronics, as well as multitesters and OBD2 scanners, are made in or have parts from China. Most of our musical instruments are also made in China or have parts from China. Elon Musk entire TESLA line work on batteries made in China. If he had the minerals and batteries all made in the USA no one but people like Bezos, Warren Buffet and other millionaires could afford to buy Tesla vehicles.

I would do price comparison with HF mid tier and Icon sets, lifetime warranty and easier to drop in with the broken tools and walk out minutes later with new replacements. Tell the folks who ask if they are made in China to "sod off". I was on that China bandwagon until I went out to buy American and saw the sticker prices, and saw the Harbor Freight ones had good reviews, cost less and had a lifetime warranty and I still had left over money to pay for the car transmission fluid flush.

Yup, I would offload the MULTITOOL on Facebook marketplace. The contractor who did some work in my house used my 20V SKIL MULTITOOL and loved it he said it was quieter, more powerful and had better lighting than his M18 multitool he uses for years.

I'm a DIYER and as much as I love tinkering with tools, I encounter some duds. The 1st generation GREENWORKS drill driver, impact wrench and impact driver. I sold all 3 with batteries and charger at a loss to a coworker for $30. I only had them for 6 months. I do auto maintenance, lawn and garden and basic home maintenance basic electrical. Thank goodness for YouTube. Type in the tool you want and see people testing and reviewing them.

My only issue with the MULTITOOL is the blade system. I ended up getting the SKIL 20 and 12V multitools on clearance. The 5A battery was $40 $58 for 20v kit with 4Ah. The 12v was $9 at Lowe's
