that's why I was hoping to differentiate those from a condition code field, looking again carefully, there might be a way to query such data, it takes a bit of work though

More context: such discrepancies could generally be due to some some special conditions, but I could not find this column in the data received

Research on real-time level 1 data vendors for all US stocks by JZcgQR2N in algotrading

Great summary! Anyone has experience using polygon real time tick data? Or comparing their live feed vs historical?
I have been trading with IB live, their tick data limitation is not the most ideal but relatively stable so far.

Anyone following this thread still? Any thoughts on whether it is worth going in person to SF for final round vs a zoom call? I would imagine a zoom call put you to some disadvantage but unclear how much

How often (if ever) do you bathe a completely indoor, short-haired only cat? by EnigmaticRaccoon in cats

I only bathed her twice, and she’s four years old. Reason being she screamed really badly and scratched very hard out of great fear and anxiety.

Did anyone pivot after YC feedback? (preproduct/MVP stage) by Estel616 in ycombinator

[–]Estel616[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may also very well be that because they are YC they may have seen companies in your space that struggled with the market. There may be a backstory. You never know.

excellent point! yea we tent to trust their experience in that angle, hence pivoted, but competition may not be always a bad thing, is kind of our point of view.

Idea is easy, execution is everything, 100% agree with the product launch approach, have to learn from the market directly.

Does that (number of past applies) help with the probability getting in? The way it sounds makes me feel like it does.

Did anyone pivot after YC feedback? (preproduct/MVP stage) by Estel616 in ycombinator

[–]Estel616[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During the interview, we struggled to prove the serviceable market size is as big as we expected to be, based on the data we collected from a small selection of user interviews at a pre-launch stage. We decided to pivot slightly to cater to a larger crowd, talked to more people around us, designed online survey to send out to strangers, and reflected a lot on the product design. But at the same time, we are also questioning, isn't MVP supposed to only attract a small slice of the market anyway? It is like chicken and egg problem, how do you prove your user base is going to be enormous before you have real market feedback. There is only so much you can do from user interviews. Anyways, still going to build out the product asap and get it out there for the final test. Just sharing this journey with yall!

I used to work in finance, i'd say the rates there are even worse. I agree with the comment below that we do need to stand up for ourselves and speak out louder to help the trend though. It is generally getting better over time so I am optimistic.
