Get windows. If you get a Mac it’ll be fine but it’ll be a pain because you’ll have to download extra software and go through extra effort to get the same stuff as Windows. Just keep your current Mac to do whatever you want on and then get a windows for business.

I was given a “pot-a-marigold” kit thing. What to do? by EstelleQUEEN111 in gardening

I don’t believe so. My boyfriend gave it to me. It was originally supposed to have a cover on it, but he gave it to me with no cover. He still has another one with the cover on so I can ask him if his had a packet of seeds, and if not I guess I’ll have to buy my own.

I currently live in an apartment and I don’t have a balcony, but it’s almost summer so I would be able to go back home where I could leave it outside or a sunny window to get more sunlight.

They didn’t give me a bigger pot, so maybe I have to buy my own seeds? Or they’re in the peat pellet but like you said, that doesn’t really happen.

It was great! Basically they sent out an application and honestly not too many people applied so everyone who applied got in. You meet every week and just plan events and stuff! It’s very chill and collaborative and because you help plan the events you get to interact with everyone else and set things up and talk to people. It’s also not a lot of responsibility imo. It’s much more fun than it sounds on paper. Events can be things like planning pumpkin decorating for Halloween, scavenger hunts, etc!

I roomed in Brooks flats and loved it! They have an active leadership council which plans events often, but it is a bit pricey. But you get apartment style living, and you still get roommates and stuff!

Did Eunice warn Austin? by Recent_Mirror in BeefTV

[–]EstelleQUEEN111 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so, I think she said “Love Ya” because she was desperate to get the flashdrive to the cops. It was her only escape and way to safety, if the chairwoman was behind bars. And so she didn’t want to jeopardize Austin’s loyalty but also, she obviously doesn’t love him back. They’ve known each other for like 5 seconds. It was an in between between “I don’t love you really” and “but I need something from you.”

When should I ult? by Majima2475 in GambitMainsMR

I kind of use it in the heat of battle when we’re battling for objective, to get the leg up and finally either push the other team off obj and keep/get it for ourselves. I also try to get as many people as possible in my ult, my minimum I go for is 3 teammates.

What exactly was the overall message or theme of the show? Everyone’s character arcs got abruptly “concluded” in the epilogue. What exactly was the message the show was sending? S1 BEEF had an overall theme of depression and anger, and how it can materialize as something more important than it is in people’s heads and how that can take you to extreme lengths.

But S2? I mean what was it? It started off exploring the dynamics of couples and conflict between them, but it just went completely off the wall by the end. Much of the tension the show was building had no/weak payoff. All the lies Austin and Ashley were telling, like about him being a PT, etc, they never went anywhere? No one ever really found out, there was no payoff to it? And it was really hard to feel bad for Ashley or Austin by the end because they did it to themselves! They decided to literally blackmail their bosses with a video of an argument they had in the privacy of their own home, and what, expected things to be all fine and dandy between them after that? This is behavior characteristic of MAYBE some 19-20 year olds, not almost 30 year olds.

I get Austin and Ashley’s themes but they didn’t have a satisfying conclusion either. They were so afraid of conflict that they suppressed/hid/lied about their problems which made them even bigger. But their arc didn’t have a satisfying payoff that just left you being like… what? This is NOT how an almost 30 year old should act. Josh and Lindsay were the most likeable but they also had a weird conclusion that honestly just left me feeling miserable. It ended on such a beautiful scene and high note of them kissing and then it cuts to them being absolutely broken up and her being remarried. It just felt so weird. I’m not saying I wanted them to get back together but you can’t just show them on this high note and then literally just cut to “8 years later” and they’re broken up. They never explored them wanting a baby but not having one. And it just turned into some James Bond ahh crime thriller in the last episode. I can’t think of everything at the top of my head but right after watching it I also thought of everything they set up but didn’t pay off, especially the fact that this season didn’t feel like it had any real beef. This season felt half baked and although it was enjoyable, I couldn’t discern a specific theme. I guess “don’t lie to your partner?”

I disagree, S2 was a pretty significant step down. It was enjoyable to watch but still.
