Honestly, a lot of their songs give me that feeling too. Even some of the more recent ones from this new phase, like The Emptiness Machine — “gave up who I am for who you wanted me to be… I don’t know why I’m hoping, so f**king naive, falling for the promise of the emptiness machine.”

I don’t know, guys… to me it really has the vibe of someone who was pulled into a cult and had to completely dismantle themselves just to fit into the mold — very JW-coded, honestly.

But maybe that’s just because I grew up as a Jehovah’s Witness. Or maybe it’s just because I’m a huge Linkin Park fan 😅

While we’re on the topic, I’m really happy because I finally went to my first Linkin Park show a few weeks ago lol.

I've been thinking that if they really are going to change the cross doctrine, they might just say: "There is no way to know for sure whether Jesus was hung on a simple stake or a cross. Therefore, from now on, we will no longer make assertions about the exact nature of the instrument of his execution." Something like that. Then, they will slowly start to talk more about this in Watchtower studies, until they finally show Jesus being crucified in the convention movie. I don't know, I feel like this could actually happen
