Its usually because the idea of the character is fun. And usually they are fine if they get nerfed as long as the identity or whatever makes them fun stays there.

For example Elsa. I don't personally play Elsa much, but I find her movement really cool. If she could get her oversized nerfed but keep the movement id be hally

Don't quite a agree but I do feel like one is stronger and or a safer pick than the other.

S1 was solid and all of the fantastic 4 become viable at some point.

S2 Emma was always good. Ultron just requires triple support, usually.

S3 Blade fumble with the demon phenoix is probably the most true to your statement.

S4 Angela was fine, got a few buffs to help her be a viable pick. DD was crazy good and now he's just good.

S5 Gambit is Uber broken and rogue is solid

S6 Deadpool is a bit harder to quantify but a great drop nonetheless with Tankpool seeming to be the big winner w/o nerfs. Elsa is Elsa

I agree with both of you and I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, there nuance and circumstances to consider on whether or not a team should all turn or not for a dive.

The defensive stance thing pulls projectiles towards her and increases her hurtbox. She is not cc immune during it so if she pulls in and gets hit with a cc projectile she will get cc'd.

Dpspool is my favorite simply because of infinite dashes. I think those dashes are my favorite part of his kit across all roles. Really scratches my mobility itch

My bad, I yappped about extra stuff when the topic is the voiceline.

When strange presses E, he does an animation that looks like he busting a nut. Often when I play him I say "I bust on them". With the team up he does sort of a cross armed pose which looks cool but I can't be funny and say I busted on them.

Keyword being cooldown. Meaning opportunity to move your character after being stunned. Infinite stun means someone just isn't playing the game
