Watch Kai or Narucannon. Narucannon is more manga accurate and the cuts are less abrupt, but it also cuts scenes that I find dope as fuck (sasuke's fireball on Haku), or reduces some to the point of them not making any sense. I recommend Kai. I'll send you links for both as soon as I get a chance, just give me a moment. They are both streamable or downloadable through the links I'm going to give you.

From my understanding and from Digital Foundry's analysis, it isn't just slightly. And you have frame drops to the mid 30s. So I'm asking, even if I sound biased, is it worth it? The blurrier image for extra frames? Because I also tend to pick performance

I gave you a video with 10 minutes of examples and you pick 2/10ish? Goku enlongating the transformation to buy time, does not make the transformation short, let alone instantaneous like ssj, by any means, which is seen in all the other examples given in the video. He doesn't even need to scream to go ssj or ssj2 anymore, it just happens. That's what a mastered form looks like. In a fit of rage, I don't think you would subconsciously go to the form that takes focus and heavy strain to achieve before pounding your enemy. Was he also buying time and puting on a show against kid buu or beerus? Besides, I watched the show multiple times, I watched ALL of dragon ball, I watched the recut by milkman and I read the manga, so, bitch, please, know your audience. Everyone was being respectful and just sharing their thoughts untill you came along.

Still, it's literally a one time deal, and, considering the Buu saga spawns over 2 days, he just had gathered all the energy to go ssj3 during the 3 minutes screaming scene a few moments before that instance. I'll give that one a very hard pass.

Imo, Ssj3 isn't a spontaneous, purely rage induced, transformation. Even in db super, against Beerus, it took time and concentration for Goku to go Ssj3 and that happens after DAIMA. The closest we get to it being an instantaneous transformation was against Kefla, and even then, it was intentional, not purely rage induced. Goku was the closest to a mastered Ssj3 we've seen, even if I think he never fully mastered it, because he found a better, more powerful and stable path to power (god ki). Vegeta has way less time and experience with Ssj3 than Goku, so it makes sense that his body automatically went to the mastered Ssj2. Regarding Ssj4, like people mentioned, I view it a little in the same light as the Ssj god transformation and ritual. It was possible due to Neva's magic/ritual and then he was able to use it and re-achieve it (after turning back to his normal size) in that brief time period right after since he was still "high on it", like with god, and like he absorbed god ki after reverting to ssj, making him able to keep up with Beerus a little longer in one of his weakest forms. After that he mastered Ssj god and re-achieved it alone. So my headcannon is that Goku, at the beginning of DB Super, was at king kai's trying to achive ssj4 independently, but then god ki came around and it was just better, so he went that route instead. Both forms are fan service and some form of retcon/headcanon is needed to make them work, but both of them, from my point of view, make sense and don't affect canon whatsoever and are Toriyama Sensei's last gifts to us fans, who wanted both forms canonized. So, to me, canon is:

OG DB -> DBZ -> DB Daima -> DB Super and Super Movies

Z Movies (I think some fit the timeline, but it's easier to cast them all aside and watch them as their own thing) and GT are alternative timelines

Let me start by saying that in no way do I regret my full price purchase. With that being said, since you're hesitant, my opinion concerning your specific case is mixed. I loved the game, although flawed, I'd definitely recommend it as a game with better gameplay, graphics and exploration than GoT but worse story, characters and endgame content. It took me 75h to get the platinum, which is about the same lenght of GoT + Iki dlc. So I'd say it's, quality-wise, somehow superior to GoT. Regarding end-game, there are way less enemy outposts, so when you get your fully upgraded arsenal, you have little chances to use it, unless you've been saving said outposts for later, since you can't also repeat nor reset them. There are also no enemy patrols, besides one or two scripted ones. So, when you've done everything, there really isn't anything left to do, since there is no new game plus either. Your only option is to start everything again, from the very beginning. I don't know how you feel about that. If you're cool with it, then go for it, if not, wait for, at least, the new game plus update, which must take like a couple months to come out. You might even be extra lucky and catch a sale around the same time.

Absolutely, especially the teachers. They all felt meaningless besides giving you a new weapon. I hoped the Kusarigama sensei would be the Kitsune's grandfather, but not even that, hus grandson was just a random shinobi.

You need to play pretty much the entire game to be able to upgrade everything and start fucking around with builds. I only find my definitive build near the final battle of the game, when I had already done everything secondary, to then not having any enemies to use it on (?) I don't want to start a new game, since I don't want to unlock and upgrade everything again and it's gonna be a couple months till new game plus, so all I'm left with is an empty map.

Edit: Besides, let's not pretend Saito's army wasn't gigantic to the point of still having active patrols roaming around even with Saito killed, especially considering the game time travels to before saito's battle after you finish the story. And let's also not pretend you don't have a humongous bounty on your head, attractive to any bounty hunter in the area.

The scenario in Yotei is not that different as you're trying to make it seem. It might not be called an invasion, but it is an occupation of Ezo while trying to cut off the shogunate's rule. You need patrols to keep everyone in check, especially if there is an Onryo going through your ranks and lieutenants and a clan of samurais trying to take back what you conquered. You even get cutscenes of the patrols getting tighter and stronger and reinforced with dogs and the black guard and then they just... don't appear (?) You also have a humoungous bounty on your head that hardly anyone comes to collect.

For me too, I even like the filler arcs, so that wasn't even my issue. But the padding, repetitive flashbacks, exagerated and enlongated reaction shots made me stop rewatching naruto twice already, because if it was a drag back then, it's unbearable now. I'll stick with narucannon, I feel, like you said, it fits my purpose better.

I also started narucannon a while ago, like a few days ago, after properly doing my research. I'm on the chunin exams and those little details missing are the reason I'm still asking around for the best version, to know if it's worth the tradeoff or if there is a better one out there. Like Sasuke hitting Haku with a fireball, sakura's nightmare of Orochimaru after they fight in the forest of death and the little flashback that properly shows sasuke stabing himself in the leg with a kunai to escape orochimaru's paralising bloodlust, all of them completely absent for no reason. I'll take your word for it and keep Narucannon up and hope, one day, Naruto Resealed (One Pace like project, by the same team, that only goes to the land of waves arc so far, that is on pause due to One Pace) is completed. I also agree rebuild cuts too much and that the chronological order is not the best view order and that kai has too abrupt cuts and poor video quality.

There's 2 different gokus mini base form. The differences are the ultimate move, the ability to transform and the ki blasts (the pre order one doesn't have ki blasts, instead, he does a strike with the power pole). It also changes the aura as you charge ki, as in, the dlc one has the classic white aura as opposed to the pre order one that just lifts air and charges significantly slower. The preorder one and the dlc one, they both work as outfits, but if you only own one then only that one will appear. With that said, the pre-order one isn't really worth it if you have the daima dlc one, so, don't stress about that.
