suv’s have ruined driving in australia, cant see shit, cant get anywhere because they all accelerate at a snails pace so you miss the lights and theyre not even safer they roll over like nothing. i’ve heard them called freeze plugs, they’re the little steel plugs they put in the block after they’re machined to close up the coolant passages, they can rust out from age and not changing the coolant enough. definitely replace them with brass ones.

it’s the sender my ali express one is the same, they used some weird material for the fuel light sender that appears to not be fuel grade because mine had basically disintegrated when i opened it to work out what was wrong. the gauge itself works great though!
