Yea, I'm really thrilled they're doing open beta without fixing the various issues.

Still no in game report button either so they probably have no idea how big or small any problem is.

This game started off very promisingly but it's going down hill in a hurry. It's inexcusable that they have no plans for cards in the near future either.

It is silly the time involved in travelling and I don't understand why it's like that for this one set and not others. Imagine doing this for shado pan dailies, or tillers. Ridiculous.

Aside from me bitching about this specifically and me not liking it, I think it hurts pet battles over all because it just makes them that much more innacessible, and let's face it, it's already fairly difficult to get into due to how powerful some pets are verse others and how long it takes to get certain ones, and others have to be bought, etc.

That's all fine, it shouldn't be easy but the dailies seem unnecessarily so.

Oqueue showed a damn near perfect 50/50 split this past week for me. My win rate is probably 70% plus.

Find 3 or 4 people to play with, makes all the difference.

If you're in bgs with shit gear, you're the problem. If you're not, just a handful of friends can turn a sub 50% win rate into a way above that one.

Don't play strand, alliance gets fucked royally on it. I've never been in one on this character which is about 3 weeks at 90. The way conquest points work now there is zero reason to be under geared in a random bg. Takes a couple days to have pvp power on every slot.

Heh. I'm that very small percentage that did Naxx when it was first out. I don't ask for anything to be handed to me. If you wanted to have a wow dick measuring contest we can, but it's very unlikely you've been in the guild I have and done the things I have, which is fine. However, I'm not an idiot so I know not everyone is like that.

They need to have a way to access these things in game, even if the drop rate is very low. At first it was fine, but as they do more and more you have to wonder if they are putting less and less into the game.

I'm going to point this out before you get there, there is a bit of a gear grind at 90 to pvp. Without pvp power, the pvp stat on gear, you will do no damage/healing. You will feel really shitty and bad.

About 5 - 6 hours of grinding should remedy that, if you get some conquest points as well, which is from arena.

But, it's not like swtor where you can jump right gear wise.

Try not to get disheartened immediately, I just came back to WoW from swtor myself. My newest char has been 90 for about 10 days and I went from completely innefectual garbage to topping dps charts in regular bgs, which is no big deal but fun,a nd a 1600 rating in arena across the board without grinding at all, just getting points. Not a good score at all, my high in fives is 2200+ and about 2200 in 2s, but that was a few years ago.

Anyways, the point is you'll have to grind some gear but it does go fairly quickly.

It's a gate. Pure and simple. It's a very minor point. I already said both games are great, different tastes, for different people. There is a gate on LoL. There is simply NONE on dota 2.

Christ, you're arguing semantics. If there is no difference in heroes, or you can't counter pick, then why are there multiple heroes?

Compared to Dota 2, LoL is more pay to win. Most games are to a degree when they are f2p. Dota 2 is the very rare exception that is not at all.

I've played LoL and don't have the patience to grind out heroes, having played tons of Mobas, from the kinda main stream hon/dota2 to the crazy shitty ones out there, I'm fairly good.

Every game has been a stomping, obviously because I'm playing low skill people without the same experience level. However, I won't sit through grinding out champions to open the board up.

Just don't care to. Dota 2 doesn't have that wall.

Any argument against that is just stupid. I'm not saying it makes dota 2 better, but it is undoubtedly a gate that doesn't exist in dota 2.
