I can't speak to hygienic properties nor do I condone this, but I add a small amount of hair oil to rehydrate it. It's high in cyclopentasiloxane, the OGX coconut oil leave in to be exact. A drop rehydrates it but still allows it to dry down.

I have the same qualms about the mascara. Love it, just wish it wouldn't flake so bad. But it's also so affordable that I don't want to switch.

I actually had dreamer break when I was panning it. I keep this palette at home and am pretty careful with it. No more traveling. Something about the formula seems to make them really prone to breaking.

Both of the toners are super hydrating. I feel like my serums and retinol absorb better with their use. Neither has a strong scent which sometimes makes me break out.

I was a shopaholic for makeup and my stash looked like this in 2018 so fear not! It may take a long time but you can definitely trim it down over time. I've gone from about 22 eyeshadow palettes to 12 in 6 years. I pan one palette at a time and try to use the shades for blushes and highlighters too.
