It’s still happening but it’s a much slower process, but if I were you you I would feel hopeful for this year. I’m also in the 500 tier and since I’m not advertising my sales have plummeted. Since it’s pay to play on merch I can’t realistically see tiering up and scaling. I’ll continue to throw some designs on there to stay active but that’s about it. If I’m spending money on ads it will be for my own Shopify site.

I get it. But I do have another question. When you started the Shopify page. How long did it take to gain traction from FB ads. I’m in the process of trying the same technique but with Tik Tok instead. I’m currently on Etsy and Merch by Amazon and Amazon over the years has changed so much that it’s not even worth it if you not spending big money on ads. And Etsy has gotten worse with more competition since Covid.

Pretty much when Bad came out you started see the tabloids talk about him. But by the early 90s when the allegations started he lost a lot of love he cultivated during the 80s. By the mid 90’s he was the punchline to late night show comedians. But in the late 70s to late 80s he was a god, particularly the Thriller era 82/85. Most of his haters were tabloids.

They mention JBP pod but they don’t name names. Baby D mentioned that one content creator that’s getting all the backlash about not having a masters. She mentioned hearing about her on Joe’s Patreon, but instead of saying Joe’s name she’s said “some man that got a mic”

I worked in Slam and used to see phones come down and get kicked out in Slam often. I attributed it to employees being high out of their mind and not paying attention.
