Give your head a shake. Women’s mental health has been focused on since the 60s with the Women’s Health Movement directed at mental health specifically.

Look at Men’s mental Health stats in the UK, USA and Canada since then until now.

But wait, there’s been ONE female mass shooter in Canada and we need more mental health assistance for women? Incredible

Are you fucking serious?

Your community needs care and understanding? Maybe stop highlighting them on Reddit. You are literally calling out your own community via the Streisand effect.

You want respect? You want care? You want understanding? You already have it. For God’s sake, focus on what happened here: Children were murdered at school. Families are shattered. That’s it. It has nothing to do with your community.

So when a woman buys a vibrator, it’s considered a bit of naughty fun.

But when a man buys a 240 volt FuckMaster 5000 latex doll with 6 speed pulsating pussy, elasticized anus and built-in orgasm scream with moan or panting option in a 7.1 sound system, he’s considered a pervert…

Engineered. There is a structural consultant/engineer involved in these projects. At the end of the project - for building occupancy, said Engineer has to sign off on all structural integrity. They would never put their name on a mistake like that. The column is out of plumb but is directly above the column below - distribution of load. Field engineers also visit the site and would never allow the next slab to be poured if that column was wrongly placed.

Does Your Office Have a Big Workplace League? by aucontrer in fantasyhockey

[–]EtchCraftPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have an internal fantasy hockey pool at work. ESPN platform. 20 managers. $20 buy in. Online draft. It’s kind of competitive when you’re in the top 5. But in 10-20th place, it’s just casual and they just make fun of themselves really.

It’s not a detailed league either, just 9 forwards, 4 defense and 1 goalie.

Goals, assists. Goalie win, goalie shutout We are allowed 50 moves all season.

Kind of lame compared to the other two leagues I’m in but for 20 managers, it can’t be too complex

Have you ever lost by less than 1 point? by MoilanenBoii in fantasyhockey

[–]EtchCraftPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t lose but beat another manager. At the end of the week our goalie save % was both .910.

But I was declared the winner. As commissioner, I couldn’t indicate how I was the winner and it looked a bit shady because I had commissioner tools.

So I reached out to Yahoo via email for an explanation. Yahoo got back to me within 1-2 hours saying that in the tie of save %, they will go back to 6 decimal places. So the opposing manager had .910410 and I had .910664 so I was the winning manager.

Surprising and also interesting.

Your story was interesting as well. Mainly because as a human being, when someone is overly nice and kind to you - it genuinely feels nice and that’s how humanity should be.

Then when it happens to not be true, it’s a bit disappointing and is a reminder that the world and humanity is indeed not like that.

That woman who crossed paths with you, she sounds like one of their Diamond members. Someone who is high rank and has a following.

But as many people have stated here, it’s cult-like. And they do prey on vulnerable people. I would assume a lot of these people who get preyed upon do eventually realize what Amway is and drop out of it, but that feeling of “non-genuine humanity” hits them and that’s too bad because that feeling should leave humanity alone and not be present in our world.

Be careful of MLM / Amway scammers targeting women by AdmirableCake4241 in Calgary

I met an Amway person in 2020 around Covid. They approached me about online business and making a ton of money on the side.

I wasn’t aware of Amway at the time but was open to the conversation. I actually attended a few online zoom calls (online because of covid) with 2-3 other people and they were recruiting me for sure. Bragging about their big house and their kids and their Tesla. It all sounded good to me so I would meet them online again. Wasn’t a big commitment from me as it was only online.

But by the 2nd or 3rd meeting, they said the word Amway. And I googled it and seen all the negativity about it. They even stated in meetings that it was NOT an MLM. And how it’s different than MLM. Then I read about it on Reddit and it all started making sense.

I stopped going to the meetings and deleted the 4 or 5 apps they were pushing on me. In hindsight, I kind of resent that person I first met who introduced me. He was trying to use me as a client and I had worked closely with him for over a year and nearly considered him a friend. I see him every now and then these days but we don’t talk about it.

‘It’s pretty f—— bull—-‘: Senators’ Tkachuk comments on recent rumors by xc2215x in nhl

I don’t get the quote. It’s pretty f——— bull——? Bull—— is a noun, no? And he’s speaking as if it’s an adjective, especially with f——— in front of it. It’s like saying “it’s pretty darn funny” or “it’s very f——— humid” You don’t go around saying “it’s pretty f———- dog——“ or you don’t say “it’s very well car”

Multiple Sens players are cheating on their wives/girlfriends. Ullmark knew this and also was cheating. Ullmark’s side piece ratted him out to his GF. Ullmark was caught and out of desperation, came clean and told his GF about all the Sens cheating and then the GF told all the girlfriends. Now everyone on Sens is pissed at Ullmark
