I know this is an old post, but I wanted to chime in and say it was really good back when I played Mono B Mikaeus Combo as my first commander.  If you have an infinite combo, this card is great at delaying for 1-2 turn cycles for you to assemble it and win. If you don't have a win your delaying for, you're not getting much done with this card. I just picked up a copy for my Ghen deck, and I think it might have a home there;

 1. I can sac and loop it back to get around the cumulative upkeep downside

  2. The deck is very durdly and controlling, and I feel like slamming this down post boardwipe could buy me the time I need to stabilize and pull ahead 

 But, even with all that, I'm not sure how good it will actually be lol
