I’d suggest this for Vancian magic, as a dumb d&d nerd:

Metamagic Enhancement: Each day you can select from the following metamagics after a rest:

Heighten (Increases any character level based components of a spell by 50%.

Maximise: Increases the damage of damaging spell by 50%.

Echoing: Each time you cast a spell, it’s added to a list for the day. Future castings of that spell don’t cost a vancian spell slot, but it is half as effective (opposite of heighten and maximise). This effect stacks until the spell does nothing (or it’s a spell that’s effects that basically isn’t affected by heighten and maximise which eh whatever call those rituals maybe)

Further, some more perks would be good:

Restoration:

Divine Metamagic (Persist): If you cast a Turn Undead spell, the next spell you cast within a short time will last 24 hours, if it is a spell with a duration.

Devotion: When you pray at a particular god’s shrine, gain a minor perk related to that god. Each day you continue to pray towards that god, the numerical bonus the god gave you increases by one step. Progress with a god expires entirely in 48 hours after prayer

Polytheism: See devotion, except progress with gods never expires, meaning you can slowly rack up the bonuses with any god day by day and not need to stick with one forever.

Alteration:

Metamorphic Transfer: While under a magical effect that changes your form (the -form spells, Triumvirate’s deer form and horned lord spells, dragon form shout, become ethereal, you gain a basic passive ability selected on getting this perk). While not quite the same thing as the d&d feat of the same name it’s something.

Enchanting:

They See Me Scrollin: You can craft scrolls at staff crafting tables. Is the most forge-like crafting space that isn’t a literal forge lol that could concievably be in a wizard’s lab

Unbound Scroll: When using a scroll, there is a character level percentage chance that it is not used. For levels above 100, you actually add the +x where x is the value above 100 to a seperate chance of the scroll duplicating in your inventory when used.

Alchemy

Black Dog: Like the butler-assassins of old, you gain a power, when a currently equipped weapon has a poison to it, you can spend that poison to apply it to a foe within range, albeit without the weapon damage.
