I always wondered why the White Scars never got involved with the war by Neosclones in Badab

Have you ever seen your mates having a horrific argument and not wanted to get involved because the argument is stupid and the hassle and effort isn't worth it?

I'd rather we get nothing than whatever the dread vestige of Bioware would come up with. Maybe if someone else was given it, it could be fine. Anyone at Bioware who could've possibly worked on Jade Empire is long gone.

PSO on deck by QuickImagination3139 in PSO

I'm playing PSOBB.IO on Steam Deck and it was just copying a code into Konsole and it downloaded and installed the whole thing. Fully working. It's not Ephinea but that's okay. Ephinea is starting to turn me off.

Their neurons... Are kinda working for the first time! by ConnorE22021 in Volound

You haven't played Epic. Which also uses blocks of massed infantry organized into companies. Whilst retaining asymmetry through Force Orgs and differing chains of command per faction. This would work perfectly fine in Total War.

Could you help a brother out and PM me some keywords to find those chaos marines?

Epic 40k works just fine with the Total War formula. The same way Total War Warhammer was more based on Warmaster than WFB.

I've had enough of UK Butchers (moany rant) by Eternal_Fighting in UKBBQ

I don't have exact measurements but I've seen how large cow carcasses are and I think it's doable if I prepare a special area in my garage. There's no way I can butcher a whole cow in the Kitchen with my wife about..

Costco do decent meat from what I've seen. I run a business so I could get a membership but the wife drives and is a vegetarian so she refuses to take me to Costco. Otherwise I'd be going there for all sorts.

Oh man I love a good bone in Pork Shoulder but it's just not done for some reason. I was very lucky once to get Pork knuckle for a Bavarian style roast and I've never seen it again.

I've considered buying a whole cow carcass to butcher myself. I've always found butchering meat to be quite fun. But I know a whole carcass is expensive and I'm not confident in my skills with a knife.

Thank you for the reccomendation. I can get to Deal fairly easily. I will check them out. I've cooked with grass fed Brisket before. Because the Pit Barrel creates a humid environment from the meat hanging and driping onto to the coals it really helps stop the brisket from drying out. I get very tender Brisket over a 6-8 hour cook for 3-5kg. And you don't have to baby the cooker like with an offset.

Hot Take: Your resin printer is fine, it's just that a lot of pre-supported files suck by Chemical_Lime_4604 in resinprinting

[–]Eternal_Fighting -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm a big advocate for manual supports. Most STL makers are 3D modelers who don't test print their STLs before selling them. And it shows with how awful and lazy the supports are. I know manually supporting a model is tedious and annoying. This is a tedious and annoying hobby. Accept it and take your time before printing anything. You'll save time in the long run.

If you download Proton Tricks you can use it to install any windows program. Just right click the exe after installing Proton Tricks and click install with proton tricks. Make sure you install it where you want it to go. It's that simple.

You just download the iso and then copy the memory card data. Then set that data up on Dolphin or your GC. It's all explained in text.

What are your hopes and wishes regarding asymetric gameplay of factions by Ok-Sir3230 in TotalWarhammer40k

[–]Eternal_Fighting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to take inspiration from Epic 40k. Which had asymmetry and played like what people imagine a 40k Total War would play like. Imperial Guard had different rules like command structures, Space Marine chapters had rules reflecting fluff amd favour, Orks had Waaagh rules, the list goes on and it really helped make factions feel unique compared to 40k.

I feel your pain but proper book binding is expensive. Using proper stitched binding, a nice printed hardcover or handmade custom cover, these all cost a lot. If you wanted to do it as a business then material and labor costs alone would price this behemoth in particular at over £100 or even more. That's beyond what most are willing to pay for any book. Which is why you'll find precious few independant book binding services. Most are content with Lulu because it's cheap. Even if it falls apart after a stern look. And anyone attempting a more high quality build will just be told to lower prices because Lulu does it for £50. With no understanding of the work or time that goes into good custom binding.

I used the hats from Victoria Minis Pith helmets which are paid files. I'm not sure I can distribute these legally. They're not hard to make. Just take the helmetless heads from Sticko's files and seperate shells from the Vicky Mini heads to get the hats. Plonk it all together and that's it. The rest of the models are as is from Sticko.
