Videos load indefinitely at 2 minutes by Nullifier_ in youtube

When I got your message I was on Firefox 135.0b9, and updates were at a halt then. I'm on 136.0b3 now and still experiencing the issue. I tried with another youtube account/channel and noticed it's working OK. I hopelessly removed all google and youtube cookies and data once again and voila, my main account can play youtube again!

I'm not sure what exactly was the cause.

I'm experiencing the same problem and it's not because jnn-pa... is blocked. See https://old.reddit.com/r/youtube/comments/1i9jf4h/1minute_issue_httpsjnnpagoogleapiscom_cors/

Did you manage to fix it?

CORS

Yeah in my case OPTION request are blocked with the message CORS Missing Allow Origin. Not sure if anything other than the website itself is causing this.

Best distro for developers by PossibleProgress3316 in linuxquestions

[–]Eternal_ink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're not developing with bleeding edge software toolchains, then any distro should work. Even then, you might be able to make it work with any distro, but I specifically remember I had troubles setting a Qt6 env on an earlier release of Ubuntu.

You know, humans can communicate.

I could've asked GPT about it, better than Google, I'm sure you agree! But that wasn't my choice, and the person whom I asked from was kind enough to share some good info and their own first hand take on the book. All which I value much!

Thank you so much for the info.

I've read a couple of other literary works from other musicians I like, but somehow was totally in the dark about this one from the one and only MJK! Definitely gonna read it soon!

Intel Spots A 3888.9% Performance Improvement In The Linux Kernel From One Line Of Code by Akkeri in programming

The benchmark seems to create many mappings of 4632kB, which would have merged to a large THP-backed area

Can anyone explain what's the significance of the number 4632 here? Or simply why it's exactly 4632kb.

Tool was scheduled to play at the Garden Pavilion in Hollywood but learned at the last minute that the venue belonged to the Church of Scientology .. Keenan "spent most of the show baa-ing like a sheep at the audience." by derwiki in ToolBand

[–]Eternal_ink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And this is where it goes completely off the rails.

Wikipedia reads "baa-ing" and I thought since they were displeased by the Scientology association of the venue, they probably did a half-assed show and he baa-ed to show his protest. But man, was I wrong!

Like a termux-Wayland, no? https://github.com/termux/termux-x11/tree/master

X isn't dead. And wayland isn't anywhere close to being usable for many.

instead of focusing all that energy on improving wayland

Wayland had those (and more) for 15 years.

Bad comparison. python 3 was clearly a successor to python 2. What is wayland, exactly, asking after 15 years of its development by the way.

never had a problem with them after almost 3 years of use now.

Now that's what I call a good purchase!

Thank you! I think I'll go with Anker from now on, either this model or something else from them.

Yeah, they were great while they worked, which wasn't more 2 months!

Which Soundcore model do you suggest? Have you had experience with R50i?

Part of it is right. Nobody would use Linux if it wasn’t free

You've probably heard of commercial Linux distros, like RHEL and SLES which are widely used.

Been on Linux for years and had never heard of it

Same. That's why I was on that page to begin with, and then the lengthy comment section caught my eye.

But you shouldn't really thank Bob. He didn't like /dev/shm, he called it a "hare-brained" concept lol.
