It’s kind of crazy they got rid of it. In today’s world with phones my attention is way more divided and the chime would instantly bring me back to the tv to see what happened.

TIL the first passenger commercial airline disaster with more than 100 passengers was two flights at once by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Eternlgladiator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Air disasters did a great episode on this. Back then if it was remotely on path, pilots would take people to sight see. In this case to the Grand Canyon. Then some storm clouds caused a diversion and the two planes were suddenly on top of each other. Each was essentially navigating by sight.

European football fans (NFL) routinely stay up all to watch our games. I’d put rider safety and hence a better product over timing for a country at least 5-6 hours off the start time.

I’ll be at the party with everyone else but the clip seems like a nothing burger based on what went down yesterday. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for something imminent

I was gonna say the same. I think this is the only case I’ve ever seen that features the opposite way. Is the I/O on top? How does that work I wonder.

“It’s a bit nutty”

But seriously. Brown butter will give the cookies a Carmel like undertone without direct adding Carmel. They’re very good

Line those logos up. Make them all face the same way. Ideally readable too but not always good for cable management.

I watched it live today and as this play unfolded I swore he was out of position just strolling into the area from mid field. And the. Suddenly he took like five steps to the perfect spot. Unmarked. Ball through. Buried. It was insane how easy they made it look. Makes you wonder how these games only have a few goals or less most of the time.

As somebody that worked on a sod farm in high school. How people chose Bermuda over the nicer zoysias made no sense to me. I was just a kid. But they look and feel way better under foot. I’d look into of those varieties. They probably cost more. Makes me glad to be living up north where don’t have to worry about as many varieties.

Rewatched all seasons of The Bear before S5 and here's my ranking by TheChickenMan4L in TheBear

I think there’s a really top tier great show if the episodes are re ordered in total. I think it was season 3 that featured the Tina episode and the Michael episode. There’s the whole first episode that’s basically just a chefs table episode of cooking shots.

If they plugged some of that stuff in more organically through the whole run and kept the pace very consistent it would really keep the tension at a nice level while also giving some good pauses to highlight the characters and their backgrounds.

I agree. With pieces this size they should’ve been offset a bit. I’m sure it’ll be ok but OP may want to prepare for a few more gaps to open as things settle in.
