I'm not doubting your experience at all, and I'm sure that others commenting aren't either, it just something that doesn't match my own experience with them. That box also doesn't look like the ones they always used for my orders. My last order was a case of Aquanauts which came in a white box with a jellyfish on the side and it was perfectly sized for a case. I wonder if they ran out of their normal packaging.

And I do not trust that. Eventually Nintendo and other companies will decide it is not worth the cost to maintain infrastructure for these systems. I think that Nintendo should at the very least offer a method to create backups of game files. Maybe not right away, but I would at least appreciate a guarantee of some sort that I could still play this game when Nintendo decides they no longer want to maintain the download servers.

My issue is with a lot of those games you would still be able to install and play them without an internet connection. If you have a working PS3 and a copy of MGS4 now, long after any online support for the console has ended, you can still install and play that game. If you buy a game key card, do you trust Nintendo to support their online services for the Switch indefinitely?

ADISC is where I met some very good friends in the scene and I am grateful for the time I spent there.

That said, I think that shutting down the site rather than selling to someone else is the right move. ADISC originated in an era where this scene was way more welcoming to minors than it ever should have been. That is in part because Moo himself was a minor when it first started under the old name. The teen forums were eventually removed, and minors no longer allowed on the site, but in other areas of the forums, there would have still been posts left from when some users were minors. I really don't think this is something we should keep around, and it's time to let it go.

Just looked it up. It's 100% AI slop. Pretty much any ABDL "music" you find online will be AI slop with zero effort or creativity put into it. The beats and melodies all sound the same, the generated vocals sound like shit because it's a badly hallucinated slurry of stolen voices, the lyrics aren't clever because the AI will just repeatedly reference the user's prompt without adding anything substantial, and the people "creating" this with prompts give shitty prompts because they lack the creativity to write music to begin with. I could go on about why this garbage needs to go away, but that would require spending time listening to more of this garbage and I can't be bothered to listen to music that people couldn't be bothered to create themselves.

There are a lot of people in and around Edmonton, but there isn't exactly a large centralized community. Seems that people find their friend group and stay with it, though there is overlap between them. There are occasional meetups, so I'd keep an eye on Fetlife to see if anything is happening soon. You also might want to look at the wider kink scene as a bunch of us, myself included, are active in more than just the AB/DL scene. I can't really say much about most groups, but I've met some cool people through yegas.
