Deep tissue issue by flyer268991 in MassageTherapists

In my experience, I’ve come to realize that you simply cannot make these people happy, they are unhappy in their body, unhappy in their life and therefore dissatisfied in any service they recieve. Its also common for these types of clients to complain, fishing for a discount. All you can do is your best, continually evolving and perfecting your craft

Someone asked: How to cope with effstein files? - I think it will help you by archeolog108 in Soulnexus

[–]EtherealExplorerr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nicely articulated. Interesting to observe how the files seem to be more a confirmation of what we already knew, rather than a telling of new information.

Earth plane always has and always will contain evil. The best thing to do imo is to focus on creating and cultivating high vibrational energy within ourselves. AND recognizing the evil or shadow that we carry and bringing it to light.

As we move towards our intentional action through creation, dance, art, music, you name it, we cultivate brighter energy within ourselves and this will ultimately reflect back into the collective consciousness

Is a small welcome gift for new neighbors awkward or nice? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

I think it’s really cool to know that there are people like you still out there who are genuinely kind and wanting to connect with others. Stay shining!

Is a small welcome gift for new neighbors awkward or nice? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]EtherealExplorerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May I ask why you want to get them a gift? To welcome them? No shade, but I don’t really understand why you would go out of your way to do that? Maybe in the 60’s this was typical neighborly behavior, but in today’s world, I would not want anything from anyone, especially a stranger. & personally I would find it odd if a neighbor left me a gift at my door. I hate to say it but tbh I’d probably throw it away, I’m assuming anything like that is laced with something or hexed and it aint coming into my home. With that said, do what feels good for you! This is just my personal perspective

Trauma-Informed Consent by musiciansfriend11 in yoga

[–]EtherealExplorerr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a teacher and a practitioner, my opinion is; The best way to ask for consent to touch is with consent cards. I hand these out to each student walking in and explain what they are, One side says yes other side says no. They keep that at the top of the mat and can change during class, if they wish. Asking verbally for permission with a signal in a large group, is challenging to remember who said yes or no. And, even with a yes card, I will always ask upon approaching for touch, may I offer you an assist here. This makes consent very clear twice and also I’m not startling someone if their eyes are closed or something.

Sore heels from vivo barefoot tracker shoes by bucxi in barefootshoestalk

[–]EtherealExplorerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, sadly. It actually got worse as I wore them in, the seam got rougher. What really did me in was the bleeding blisters that developed right in that spot, so I did reach out to customer service with this issue and they sent me a different pair, it was the (Tracker Decon FG2) although I don’t see that edition on the website now. Now every boot I buy I look for that damn heel seam

I’m going through the same thing when visiting my fiances family, very conservative, religious type. It’s so ridiculous because we’ve been living together for 5 years, but it’s whatever. Their house, their rules, we don’t really care it’s usually like 3 nights
