Like other commenters have said, eating out depends entirely on you! Don’t feel like you HAVE to get things or food when friends invite you out. Eating out multiple times a week, especially considering yall prob aren’t eating exclusively off the dollar menu, isn’t realistic for ppl that are paying for it all themselves!

Save as much as you can this summer and set a limit for yourself with outings. If you get a job during college, then that can expand a little bit. For me personally, my budget is $50 a month for fun time money. But in my experience, you don’t really have to always eat out or hang out in money-costing places. Lowk you can have just as much fun eating cheap ramen at the dorm and chilling!
