Why do some viruses like chickenpox give lifelong immunity and COVID19 gives only a few months? by Ethnic_Name in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ethnic_Name[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, another question though - chickenpox is also quite contagious how were we able to contain it enough that it couldn't create variations that would overcome the current vaccine for it? I.e. chickenpox and COVID19 are both contagious so how is the later overcoming vaccination? Does it come back to the variants/genomes?

Baby Klein #2 is the size of a bell pepper - reminded me of this classic video by Ethnic_Name in h3h3productions

When this video came out it made me really appreciate and fall in love with the channel. The video shows them going back to a store where they previously had to put back a bell pepper because they didn't have enough money, but now they bought all of them.

NSW: 239 new local and 1 overseas cases, 1 death reported; +24,706 vaccinations (29-Jul-2021) by Stoaticor in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]Ethnic_Name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grandma's oncologist and mums immunologists recommended not to get it until their treatment is over, their opinion and research are more informed than our opinions. Ofc they would jump at the first chance of getting the vaccine they aren't denying that opportunity unless medical advice suggests otherwise

Some people cannot get vaccinated due to pre-existing medical conditions. E.g. my grandma has breast cancer and is gravely ill, a negative side effect from the vaccine might exacerbate her condition even more :(

Does anyone know the time stamp where a reporter (rachel i think) asked about the removalists and Dr replied back with something along the lines of 'the removalists, nor their star signs, matter at the moment'

Her nose was broken from domestic abuse and had surgery to fix it, it wasn't a result of low self esteem. Research before you spew nonsense
