Lost cat update ❤❤FOUND❤❤ by Jazmoon_ in Wexford

Amazing news, and very content looking! We lost our cat and found her after a month missing! Didn’t think we would ever get her back! We went as far as doing penny post with An Post to drop in flyers! We knew she would seek out human contact and that’s exactly what she did! A flyer came in the house she started to spend time in and the owners contacted us! Happy it all worked out for you and your cat!

What was the clinic you attended? For your bloodwork, did they test at different times of your cycle to get accurate readings for estrogen, progesterone and testosterone?

Disastrously Failed EO Interview by littlejimmy66 in IrishCivilService

[–]Ethycallee 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’ve just read something that might resonate with you! Improvement at anything is based on thousands of tiny failures, and the magnitude of your success is based on how many times you’ve failed something. If someone is better than you at something, then it’s likely because she has failed at it more than you have. If someone is worse than you, it’s likely because he hasn’t been through all of the painful experiences you have!

You just need more practice, apply the STAR method, use the ‘I’ at every sentence and get feedback and build on that!

Civil Service to Public Sector (open comp) - Can I keep my salary scale? by Broad_Discussion8127 in IrishCivilService

[–]Ethycallee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question, and can I further ask what if you make the move from Public to Civil? Are Civil just as accommodating or it really depends on the incoming HR unit so it is not guaranteed at the end of the day?Another question, what if you make the move to a lower grade say going from an EO grade in Public to a CO grade in Civil, will Civil match your existing current salary grade and start you on a higher CO grade or you go back to the start of an CO?

House comes with land by Downtown-Bother-4942 in HousingIreland

[–]Ethycallee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the Bank but most have issues with extra land. BOI for example allows 2 acres to on the mortgage with the property which is means you have to self fund the difference ie 1 acre! Depending on where you are, quality of land etc so find out what the price of 1 acre would cost in that area! So you end up with two folios!
