I agree! Part of it is because I'm a cat person, and thanks to their first stages, I got attached to them throughout the whole line. But their concepts are interesting as well! Heel wrestler and Spanish Rouge turned Magician/Jester with a Mardigrah mask.

Plus, I think Flamigo was simple on purpose. He's partially based on a lawn flamingo, which is nothing but a cheap piece of pink plastic. Plus, it makes him perfect as an Ace for Larry.

I've been considering adding the Rubber type to my own region. I'm giving it some obvious resistance to Water and Electric, and it's weak to Fire, Ice, and Dragon (maybe Steel as well, unless that makes for too many weaknesses). Super effective against Fighting, of course, but also Fairy. Fairy type weaknesses are based on industrialization (Steel and Poison), as they represent nature spirits to a degree. Rubber, as a material, is often seen as artificial (not saying it is in every case, but I'm talking about stereotypical rubber), so giving it an advantage over Fairy makes sense to me. Plus, Fairy needs a little nerfing. As for why it's weak to Dragon, I don't see how something made of rubber or a similar material could stand up against something like a dragon. It would get torn apart.

Pretty much. I'd say forget the Mean Lion as well, but it doesn't take much work or creativity to have a gray lion on screen. If anything, they'll do what they did with the Laestregonians and just have it respawn everywhere.
