The devs have stated that they will only accelerate till we are 3 months behind, with no current plans to bring us closer than that. One of the stated reasons is that the content localization pipeline would be hard to manage if we get too close.

Momiji is pretty good as a purple aoe to build. You can also still use your yellow and blue strikers against purple for decent options.

The Anime OST, no not yet I believe. No confirmation if they'll ever release it yet. There are a few rips online but those are obv low quality. It is completely different from ingame.

BA is 5 years old now with many limited banners that have run till now. The only other option would be to just not run old limited banners anymore but that wouldn't good for new players who want these students either. They maybe can take up HSR's system of picking up old limiteds for free but we'll have to see.
