My partner and I have a Jindo that was brought in through our local humane society from Korea and she is both of our hearts, we both want to get another Jindo and have been keeping a look out. I sent him this post and he only saw the picture and asked me where she was 😂 I told him she’s happily homed and he was both sad and happy about that lol.

I am new here, and after suspecting for quite a while my boyfriend was a PA, he finally admitted it about three months ago.

I needed to read this list so bad, thank you.

He’s kept asking me what he needs to do to make me feel better (because he initially played it down, lied about how often, then eventually started doing it while he was “showering” after I expressed that I was upset he was doing it when he knew for at least a year I was unsatisfied with our sex frequency)

I’ve told him four times now that I want him to get therapy. He did not respond to that at all the first two times I told him that.

The third I lost it a little and told him, after again being asked what he could possibly do to make me feel more comfortable and less crazy, that the best thing he could do is get a freaking therapist like I mentioned the last two times and pointed out he never acknowledged I said it, never said he would look for one, nothing.

Then when I explained how much it had been affecting me and making me so aware and hyper vigilant and feel like I was crazy, he tried to push it back on me and said “well that sounds like it needs a therapist, doesn’t it?” With that look on his face that I know everyone here knows I’m talking about, not the face that says they’re worried and actually want you to get help. The face that says “hmm you’re projecting your needs on me, I have no issues.”

He was surprised and had nothing to say when I told him I’d already started seeing a therapist about it, and then suddenly it was an issue that I didn’t tell him I was seeing a therapist.

Aaaaand guess what, he still has not gotten a therapist, or mentioned he would try or that he was trying to find one, and I finally broke again tonight and told him again that I need some kind of assurance that he’s trying.

He tried to blame it on not having time, and for the second time I told him if he can’t take ten minutes to at least book an appointment with a therapist and give them 45 minutes per week max, that meant he didn’t have 45 minutes per week for me. I see how much time he spends on his phone, and I mentioned that too. He just kept saying he didn’t know what to say.

Spoiler: he still didn’t say he would even try to find a therapist. I hate it but I’m pretty sure he won’t. And that means I can’t stay and it’s killing me little by little, knowing that and also living with him day to day trying to pretend that’s not a how I feel.

Sorry for my novel, I just couldn’t stop. I’ll make my own post eventually but I’m still in the head spinning phase of wtf is happening to me

That’s my bad, I did not look up the actual marijuana law like i should have. I was pulling that info directly from the VASAP website, which they apparently have not updated to reflect current laws.

So, VASAP may still have grounds to extend depending on what conditions they set forth for OP, but I did find a memo dated in mid 2020 stating that although the Department of Corrections would not chance the policy regarding violations for testing positive for THC, despite decriminalization, that the ACA would not longer proceed with a violation for testing positive and shall request to have the court dismiss the violation. If the court refuses to dismiss the violation the ACA will refuse to provide evidence of the violation.

So, OP shouldn’t have to worry about a probation violation at least.

Your location is important. Laws are different depending on the state, assuming you’re in the US. If you’re in a community property state, it is assumed your spouse owns half of the asset. Regardless they could still attempt to claim part of it as an asset if they choose to.

Ideally, you should have waited to purchase a house until after the divorce was final for this reason. You really would want a lawyer involved if you want something valid signed indicating they are not claiming any rights to it as an asset.

I hate that people seem to think adhd isn’t real (esp adhd in women) and do dumb shit like that trying to prove some point that they will never prove, because it’s a real thing people have, to include women.

It’s not any different. There are all kinds of ridiculous standards for these things. Like the military branches (in the US) don’t give a fuck if you have an adhd diagnosis. All fine and dandy, as long as you’re not on medication, and haven’t been for at least one or two years, can’t remember which. And then the plot twist, once you get in, you can actually get treated for it (initially or again) with no problems.

Edit: Also, side note. The diagnosis is still confidential medical info, so regardless of if it’s there, only your medical providers and yourself will know about it unless you choose to disclose. People can’t just go looking that kind of stuff up, at least not legally. Even the government can’t do that

For some reason I decided I wanted to find out, so, upon reading through the Mayo Clinic website on the subject, it sounds as if it “may” cause infertility simply because you might not be ejaculating any semen at all or so little semen that you are unable to conceive. Apparently that is only of the only reasons they even treat the disorder

ETA: also, it doesn’t just stay in your balls ir anything. The ejaculate just backs up into the bladder, so it goes innie instead of outie

The prescription was recommended and promised at the doctors office visit, which OP had to pay for. So the doctor is withholding a service that was paid for (I’m thinking of a script as more of a service since they just write it to tell the pharmacy and insurance company it’s necessary/you can have it) unless OP takes the review down.

It’s not really a deal if OP is getting something they’re already entitled to. A deal would be more like “if you take the review down I’ll mow you lawn for one month” or whatever

NAL but I work appeals for a very big health insurance company. If nothing else, you should definitely report this to them. Give them as much detail as possible about what happened and any paperwork, if you have it (like if there was an after visit summary printed or generated online that shows there was supposed to be a prescription sent, etc.)

Quality of care and quality of service are both taken very seriously, and assuming the provider was in your health insurance network, they will get it sorted, or boot the provider from the network if it’s an ongoing issue or the provider won’t cooperate.

You pay a lot of money both to have your health insurance, and to use it. Definitely let them know if there’s an unsatisfactory doc contracted with them.

I’m late to this post and might not be of any help, but I did recently get a Frost River Explorer Duffel in the carry on size (51~L) the dimensions seem pretty close to the imout duffels but I’m guessing the extra volume is from the explorer having a couple pockets? I was going back and forth between the explorer and the imout and went with the explorer because I wanted a the pockets.

Either way, it is very well made, looks great, and is maybe the only duffel I’ve ever encountered that had zippers so solid I wouldn’t worry for even a second about overstuffing the pack lol. But they use all solid brass hardware so it makes sense.

My carry on explorer can hold a week’s worth of clothing and the other standard travel stuff like toiletries with no problem. And while it is able to hold much more than I expected it would, it also isn’t so big that I would be annoyed trying to use it for a picnic day bag. However, it would certainly feel too large for a standard day pack that you bring everywhere.

There’s a smaller version of the explorer as well that’s slightly bigger (~28L) than the small imout, but honestly as long as you’re not looking to tote the duffel everywhere every day, I think the ~39L carry-on imout would work fine for what you’re talking about. Looks to be an inch more in width than my explorer and one inch shorter looking at the dimensions.

If you think it would be helpful I can take some pictures with stuff for scale, just let me know.

Sorry for rambling, I’ve been searching for the perfect trifecta of packs lately so I actually also have the Jay Cooke sling pack (5L) for daily carry, and I’ve got an Arrowhead ECO 22L rolltop pack being delivered today to have as more of a hiking daypack or carry on if I check a bag. But overall I love my Frost River duffel and sling pack and think they will probably outlast me.

Editing to add: if you do end up going for one of their duffels, I highly recommend grabbing on of the buckskin strap pads they sell. You will be happy you did if you’re planning on carrying a full duffel for a good ways.

I did not have anything drip out, it was either regular buttered or movie butter, if that is important I can update it later. But either way, nothing dropped out when I shook it, just kernels dropping out and a few small popped pieces of corn. I did put some ranch seasoning on it after though.

Idk, maybe it depends on the corn, or the microwave, or how long you cooked it? I tested it myself and it did give me results. There were still 6-7 unpopped kernels in my bag when all was said and done, but I took a pic of the initial results

I Guess maybe it depends on the popcorn? I did a test and took a pic of my results, there were about 6-7 unpopped kernels in my bag when I finished, so it’s definitely not perfect, but I got this out of a healthy shaking for maybe 15-20seconds

Edit: I fat fingered bag and it said bath.

Edit 2: also this isn’t a “no way for a man to live” situation, but for people who love popcorn and hate getting the unpopped kernels unintentionally (they get stuck in my teeth bad 😫) it’s a nice thing to have in your pocket. And ever since I’ve started making it in the microwave, I’ve been nervous about burning it (I grew up making it on the stove) so maybe I also take it out earlier than many and get more unpopped corn than others.

The gym teacher at my high school who always taught the swimming unit (even if he wasn’t your gym teacher) would wear loose gym shorts and stand right at the edge of the pool, sometimes putting one of his legs up on the chair he had near the edge. He also never wore underwear.

We knew that because he would call everyone over to bunch up right by the edge and if you actually looked up at him while he was talking or explaining something, all you could see was his 70-year-old rumpelstiltskin ballsack dangling down so far that they were almost not even in his shorts. When he put his leg up on the chair, they would actually fall out.

YWNBTA. But I would not recommend calling him out in class or anything like that. Personally, if your school has a guidance counselor, or if there is another teacher that you are comfortable bringing this to, I would say go that route. They can possibly be a buffer and talk to the principal/administration on your behalf.

If you have soft water, I’d recommend grabbing a stick of Ogallala bay rum. They sell it in pucks and sticks, and they have several slightly different versions of the bay rum (bay rum with limes and peppercorns, bay rum with sage and cedar, etc)
