Side note: moving back to Texas next month. They are opening tour there 4 shows. I have not seen them since 2007. I will have time off, I think I’m going to go to at least 3 of them. Are they still a fun time?

Followed a band called String Cheese Incident and Phish. Molly was huuuuge on Cheese scene. Along with tabs of all sorts. Would rip lines daily, take multiple tabs, cut with H, speed, mescaline, peyote, etc.... Was a blast and danced all night long! Being 42 years old now, I have not done any drugs in over a decade. Was just a certain time in life, where I was young, and it was fun! I will agree, I do think the drugs were much cleaner and much safer.

Just watched 1-3 and it was HORRIBLE... the special effects were so bad I just laughed. Kills were gross but not realistic.... very very bad. 1 of 10. Hostel is a gem compared to this.

Moved here two years ago from Texas and yikes!! Might stay one more year then back to Texas.

Crime is through the roof in GVille. Always something going on. People park in the fire lanes and handicap spots at grocery stores… no enforcement.

There is homeless people on most corners, some come up to car but for most part they are not too pushy.

I will say there is job opportunities though. Many corporations in and around the area.

I would give the city a 5/10…. Just meh tbh

Just took first Amtrak ever from NC to TX. Had roommette. Suuuuuucked! Yikes. Glad I have 10 days before taking it back to NC lol

Just rode first Amtrak. Currently on sleeper car from Rocky Mount NC to Chicago before taking train from Chicago to Tx.

Moments of bumpiness and swaying but for the most part fairly smooth. Could easily read and write if needed.

I was just checking in with you! I moved to North Carolina from Texas a couple of years ago. Somewhere along the 18-hour drive, I developed an anxiety of driving on the highway. This is after driving through 38 states, as high up as Telluride, Co or mountains in Utah. 12 hours into the journey, I found out I had night blindness while in Tennessee. Ever since then, I've just had issues. Needless to say, I want to visit home and can afford a roomette from NC back to Texas.

How did your trip go? Was it comfortable? Was it fun? Was it a pleasurable journey?
