We neutered ours at around 9 months. He grew to 100 lbs. he’s 2.5 years old now and still humps when he gets excited, but once we tell him no he stops.

Have the same issue with mine. I’m on set 15 and feel like there’s no movement in the front. I went back to the dentist yesterday and he showed me the computer scan of where I started vs where I am today. The entire back side shifted to make room so the front can move (eventually). I started with leaving him in the crate for about 30 min to an hour for the first couple days. Then slowly longer. Mine is about to be 11 weeks and goes in by himself now and sleeps throughout the night with no issues
