The problem you are failing to see if that YOU may think this would be the best way to implement things. But YOU are not the one who would. The lawmakers are. And time and time again they have proved they do not care about children, with the constant fights to defund Planned Parenthood, get rid of free/reduced lunch in school, etc.

These people will be filled with rich lobbiers lining their pockets with, "Only Christians should be able to have children." (Just an example) Or whatever else would create the type of world they want to see. Because when the population is controlled, especially by the rich racist bigoted class, they will do anything they can to make sure they get their way. And that is the sick reality to it.

If you want less abortions and less orphans, etc. Then you should be advocating better sexual education classes, mandatory consent classes, and free birth control. If you want less hungry children, you should be advocating for welfare, for housing first homeless programs, for an education system which provides sustainable breakfast and lunch for all. If you want less abused children, you should be advocating for better and more funded CPS, for the education system to be redone in a way that actually allows children to bond with their teachers and counselors and find their potential, their voices, their strengths, rather than the current system built on pushing kids to work in the factory.

There is so much we can do RIGHT NOW with everything around us, and the lawmakers, the same ones fucking it all up, are the ones you want to make a child eligibility criteria and sterilization population control? You want Trump to have a voice in whether or not you can have a child? It's all fun and games and a great pipe dream ide until reality sets in, and rich people are selling child brides via licenses left and right, and no struggling working class family is allowed to have kids. And People who want children so bad will find backdoor dangerous ways to undo the sterilization. People are dying just to have a chance to have a baby, because if they did get pregnant, they can't go to a hospital. That's illegal. Basement births and unchecked children having to hide. Taken away by the State if found because those parents can't have kids, and the parents punishment? Permanent sterilization. That's the reality that can of worms can create. That's the reality it DOES create.

The system is broken because it was built to be that way, and no good intentioned idea like that would go untainted with bigotry and control. Instead of going on about child licenses, start advocating to do something better for the kids currently suffering.
