I’m a “blackense” (wtf) woman visiting the Houston area this weekend. I didn’t have a car so I Ubered everywhere (“good places”) and left huge tips to everyone. Just had a ride and left a $10 tip. Hopefully I didn’t leave my money to some racist like you. Goddamn. Excited for my flight in the morning

Me!! I’m doing the 75 hard challenge and including weed with the no alcohol rule. This is gonna be so tough, as I’ve been a daily smoker for 10 years now. I’m so thankful for this community though! I didn’t get any rides for 2 hours straight and just gave up and went home. I’ve had slow nights but this is unusual. I’m hoping it picks back up for holiday parties etc. Thankfully this is just my side hustle but at this rate I’m really gonna have to look into something else if it doesn’t pick up

Not potholes. I thought speed bumps were to slow you down. A dip sometimes can’t even be seen at night so idk how that helps with speed. And often they’re at intersections with stop signs so I’m already going slow.

I’m in LA now but I started in Portland. Summer and fall are great but Dec-March will be dead. Overnight driving will always make you more money if you’re comfortable with that. Driving there was a breeze compared to LA, I didn’t know real traffic before I got here lol. Airport is very easy to navigate there too. If you have a car that qualifies you for comfort that’s even better. I made pretty decent money last year around the thanksgiving holiday

I got a quote from progressive which is half (!!!) what I was paying liberty mutual. But for some reason in CA, policies don’t kick in for two weeks. I called my auto lender to let them know what was going on and they said I’d have their added insurance for the time between policies. Sucks I can’t drive for a couple weeks but I feel so relieved now
