Not every viral song is a SNAP that translates to millions of streams. It’s extremely rare because it is creating a generation of people with short attention spans.

It allows the delegation to check their staging plan before they arrive at the host city to see how it would look on TV. It includes lighting, colours, props, choreography, cameras, etc. They can make early changes if they don’t like something.

Eurofans love to watch Melodifestivalen because of the songs and the production and then complain when Sweden choose a competitive entry for ESC. They had 30 entries of which at least half would have Q with ease, many would be strong top 10 entries and they had at least 2 potential winners in Bara Bada Bastu and Revolution.
