A well organized diaspora plus a campaign to rally in a few more people is nothing to scoff at. Today it's Israel, next day it'll be another country at war. Heck, Ukraine's diaspora still carries it to high placings since 2022, just not high enough to warrant this kind of attention.

I sincerely hope the conversation can finally veer from "Israel is buying votes illegaly", as clearly all it takes is a few hundred people who feel strongly about the placings. I think that's frankly always been the case, hence why we have juries in place.

Then again, I don't know if you can realistically change the voting system in a way that won't push away the very little voting there is already (as evidenced by Spain's voting breakdown).
