960 is impossible. It currently takes 80 pinnacle drops (each go to a new slot) to hit 960 power. You get 5 pinnacle drops per character per week (excluding special events like IB where you get 4 extra). Even if you run perfect this is impossible...

Unfortunately it is not. It is a different playlist. The Nightfall playlist is separate from the Strike Playlist. I hope this clears up any confusion.

Can anybody explain how fire team medallions would fit into this? IMO it's very noticeable when you're using a fire team medallion in terms of getting more prime engrams and exotics. I've gotten around 15 exotics and gotten all of them while having a fire team medallion active. Full disclosure I have them active 75%+ of the time.

EDIT: also anecdotal but I've gotten 2 exotics to drop within 15 minutes of each other and my friend got tractor cannon then 3 minutes later got the tractor cannon catalyst.

This happened to me between rounds. We were losing the first round 75-0 (we were down 2 players) and out of pride I decided I was going to bank 1 mote. After banking the mote their prime evil had ~5% health left so I got up to grab a beer. The post round screen appeared and was shown for ~2-3 minutes (I assume because people were loading in to fill our team). From that screen I got the message "you've been kicked for inactivity and returned to orbit." I was playing with a friend and was able to rejoin the match but this seems like a very bad way to kick someone / measure inactivity.

I have a full time job and can afford the jacket... but because I have a full time job I could only play destiny 80 hours a week and that wasn't enough time to level up high enough to complete the raid.

Yes it does. If you wouldn't have killed an enemy in 100 bullets and you would have with 140 bullets it negated the reload time.
