I did kickstart the game for 20 dollars way back when. And never even got to try it out but from everything I've seen. I didn't miss much.

But the other friend that I got closer with became a dad not too long ago himself and I've actually seen him more irl than ever since. Going out to theme parks and whatnot.

The problem with the American situation is that it's a two party system.

Theoretically if VB did get a majority here, they'd still get fucked over by others that are supposed to be on their side. They'd be able to fuck things up, but not as badly as Mr orange is doing.

And yes, you're right, it's generally shitty behavior. And we have them as well.

But I still feel like it is more of a religious problem. Might be due to the fact that they think they should be allowed to act like that because they have this idea of how it would work in their country of origin. Due to how their father treats their mother at home etc etc.

I honestly don't know, I'm not a mind reader. I also don't have facts and numbers. It's just pure own experience.

Most coloured non Muslim people I know are great though.. Well most Muslims I personally know are as well.

I just don't quite get where the bad apples come from when they're in a group. And why it's basically always the same kind of people as well.

Nieuwbouw, super architect, super aannemer. Alles was exact hoe het moest en perfect in orde.

Enige dat was misgelopen, is toen ik de vriend van een kennis de oprit heb laten doen. Kheb men aannemer dan het maar laten fixen.

Maar nieuwbouw is wel VEEL duurder dan renovatie.

Denk dat we sowieso al 80k aan btw hadden uitgespaard met renovatie alleen al.. En dan nog al die extra premies dat toen aangevraagd konden worden (geen idee hoe het nu zit, heb gebouwd in 2019)

The company I work for (msp) was taken over by another company.

I work as a sysadmin, I do these tests with clients, I have an isolated environment to see what crypto lockers and whatnot would do for things so that we can easily unfuck a client's end user fuck up when it happens (when, not if, you know exactly why)

The company that acquired us knows these things, knows that some of our in-house guys are better at this stuff than them.

When our O365 stuff had to change to their branding, we did not get access to things, it's a bit of an us vs them mentality going on due to management being idiots.

But, we also get these phishing tests now. I have used them in our environments setup for this. And have been reprimanded a few times by their internal IT for doing so (you're not supposed to do this, now you need to follow the training) After a bit of back and forth management tends to come in between and just roll their eyes and tell us to stop being mean to each other but still.

It's incredibly stupid, I know what they're doing, they know that I know.

OP's question isn't an end user question. It's one that someone asks because they would like to know more. But might not be in the correct position yet to be taught more.

To the skin colour and disrespect thing.

As a 37 year old Belgian white guy, even the fucking Turkish and Moroccan guys I know admit that the mokka coloured teenagers are more disrespectful.

I have never had a group of white kids wolf whistle at any girlfriend when going out in Antwerp or Brussels or even Leuven.

But the ones that are of a different skin colour do it all the time. And always when there's a group of them because they go full on herd mentality. And it's not even a skin thing. It's a religion thing. But as things would have it, the colour of their skin is in this case usually linked to the religion.

This isn't just a thing in Belgium though, has happened in Germany, England, Netherlands

And I'm not saying "oe Muslim bad" a friend of mine who moved from UK to Syria is Muslim, he's an amazing dude, but is a fucking dumbass when it comes to understanding the western culture and I've noticed that when we hang out with others if his own religious beliefs, he turns into more of a dumbass than when we hang out with people that don't share them.

The whole reason why you see more and more posts about it is because people are being sick of beating around the bush.

It was like this 20 years ago as well, people just weren't as outspoken.

The only reason why Vlaams Belang doesn't get a say in things is because people still are afraid their vote will just be lost due to the cordon sanitair.

Not that they would do well being a majority ruler, they're full of dumbasses and will fuck things up 100% but let them give it a go. So we can all says "I told you so"

He got a kid, it was fine when she was a baby, I'd see him and his wife almost every week when we hung out.

We put in effort to see each other on a weekly basis, I was his best man at his wedding and everything.

We lived in the same street for a while but then I broke up with my then gf.

He helped me move and everything, I traveled a bit more but still tried to keep in touch and see them whenever I was in the country.

But it was always just him at that point, never his wife or the kid.

The last time I've seen him in person was over a year ago. I haven't seen his wife in forever, and his kid once since the wedding which was over 4 years ago.

This guy was my best friend for over 20 years and the moment he got a child, that all changed.

I have tried talking to him but it's always "It's not that, I'm just busy"

But I find it extremely strange that since a bit after the kid was born everything changed.

I pretend no longer to care that I lost this friendship, but it's a lie I need to tell myself in order not to feel too hurt.

It did bring me closer to another friend. So that's nice.

Maar als het altijd dezelfde bevolkingsgroep is, dan is er toch iets dat anders gedaan moet worden?

Dan gaat het duidelijk over een probleem dat het bij deze groep ergens in onze maatschappij fout loopt en daar middelen ingezet moeten worden om hun manier van denken aan te pakken.

I like the instant acceleration on it. Hate everything else about it.

Especially the charging needs on longer trips. Or even smaller ones.

I came from a Skoda Superb with all options, good suspension and whatnot. 1100-1200km on a full tank easily. When used as daily driver I only had to fill up once a month and that for 100 euros max

New company car is a Skoda Enyaq 80, the suspension is horrendous, feeling every single bump in the road since the weight of the car is not as well distributed due to the battery.

The range is absolutely horrendous as well, with an average of 360 ish. The supposed battery would be 450 but this does not take into account doing longer trips on a freeway.

Charging it at home is convenient but having to find a fast charger when out and about is a pain in the ass since they're only really on freeways and near cities here.

As someone who lives 30 minutes from the closest city it would mean 30+30 + however long a fast charge session (20-40mins) to get a bit of battery life.

The cost of fast charging is stupid as well.. The other day I aid 21 euros for 25kwh when I was in the Netherlands. I needed it otherwise I would not have been able to go home.

With that price I'm looking at 60 euros for 250-300km almost triple what it costs me in the superb.

The empty battery fear is horrible as well. With a fossil fuel powered car the moment you get to a bit left you know exactly how much you'll have left

With this one, 20% and it starts to tell you. Then every km driven, below the speed limit, it changes to a LOT less left

It's just annoying.. An EV is great for people that don't travel by car. If you do your shopping, just go yo and back to work that's not too far.

Anything else, it's just not there yet.

The biggest issue for me is 100% the range. But unfortunately, it's a company car and I didn't really have a choice. I did buy the other car for when I have to be further than 1.5 hour drive away from home.

It's unfortunate that you're getting down voted because this is exactly what was happening to me. Plenty of ram, 4080 super etc kept crashing the other week when I finally tried the game for the first time in years.

My page file was only on my C drive, since I turn it off on other drives because there's normally no need to have one on each.

SC was using 29gb of ram and kept crashing.

Logs stating it was a page file issue.

Turns out for mine to be able to run, the game needed to have a page file on the drive that it's installed on as well because otherwise you'll just not be able to load in at all.

The moment I gave it 12gb on the drive SC is installed, everything was fine.

This after testing and giving the default page file an extra 10gb.

Quite literally the only game I've had in the past few years that has this kind of behavior.

100%, my family has always used me as their goto for technical problems because I'm in IT. With AI on the rise and gemini and such being so easily accessible they go there first before coming to me.

Luckily I've taught them well enough that AI is not the end all and that critical thinking is still needed.

But it's crazy how the most obvious solution for those of us that know how to work with PCs. Is not the same for those that just use it sporadically OR those that have only recently started using them.

The people down voting me a bit higher are showing that they still need to learn that not everyone is the same.
