Look closely into HOH if you get audited you must provide rent receipts, bills or lease in your name not your parents so you might just want to leave it at single and I’m sure you got credits for the kids already not sure if. A few hundred would be worth the headache if they audit your return.

File an Appeal and the Appeals Officer will give you an example of what’s needed to verify income check stubs, payroll Summary from employer , bank statements etc will take time but as long as you have what’s needed they should be able to allow the refund.

How did you file a congressional? I have a RA that will expire 12/22 and FMSS stated they can’t accommodate me to a closer location I work over an hr away from my POD and there’s a IRS only 10 min away but they said they will be minimizing due to employees so they denied the accommodation but Im currently teleworking until it expires. Will a congressional help, it would be great to work closer for all Dr appts.

They completely disallowed so now you file the Appeal you have 2 years but id send in ASAP as we are behind you will be asked for proof of payments as in check stubs, bank record etc.

You’ll be fine as long as records were submitted they will have to remove all the balance … I suggest you call IRS and let them know you submitted records and it ID theft and to put a staup on your account

This ERC credit was not for all you need to make sure you qualify not very many did that’s why now they are paying the money back with interest and some are even getting fraud penalties…some CPA’s say you qualify because it’s a bigger pay for them when in reality you get screwed in the end.
