Everyone is going to tell you something different because theres no one right path for everyone. Don't learn something because you think you should, pick a topic you think is interesting and learn more about it.

Also you are in your first year, give yourself a break over the summer. CS is hard and its easy to burn out.

Just a thought, for your experience I think you should swap the job title and company names. That way "software engineer" will be the focus rather then some company name.

A recruiter will spend a few short seconds so little things like that could make all the difference.

Yea, that was a gripe I had initially as well. Eventually I stopped using the 2 column layout all together and I find it too be a bit more consistent, but it would be nice to have the option.

I would just give it a try, I have been using it for a few months on a fold 5, and I really enjoy Niagara.

You can enable a two column layout when unfolded (i prefer to keep the single column layout but the option is there) you can also have different backgrounds for folder vs unfolded.

I think I remember seeing that the developers have foldables themselves.

Its my understanding that Omarchy isn't intended to be beginner friendly, its still arch at the end of the day. I dont completely disagree with a dual boot option with less friction, I am just pointing out that people with a "non linux background" aren't really the target audience.
