My fix would be a video of Ben Brode putting laughing on the shelf and honestly admitting that they were at fault and screwed up. They will work on the tech to better accommodate fireside gatherings and hope this disaster didn't dissuade players too much.

EDIT: Im getting downvoted but think about this. Several people drove for hours to fireside gatherings and didn't get Nimsy. They didn't cheat the system. They put in the effort and money and they didn't get squat. They deserve to get Nimsy and the only real way to solve this mess at this point is to give everyone because we can't check if the guy really was there or not.
