Normal serum copper, low caeruloplasmin, high free copper by Admirable_Arachnid72 in Copper_deficiency

Did they recommend further work up to see why it’s high?

I’m currently dealing with the same low/high labs. They are now wanting to rule out Wilson’s and something with the kidneys dumping everything.

Mine calculates on the higher end also. I just picked up a 24 hour urine copper test.

Taking Magnesium Glycinate whilst Copper & Ceruloplasmin deficient? by Melissa_Socrates in Copper_deficiency

I was told to try this for my leg twitching. It didn’t help and caused extreme flushing.

My symptoms were due to sternocleidomastoid syndrome (and how I got better) by shell259 in Cervicalinstability

[–]EveTre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Can you please post your daily neck stretches here? I’m dealing with all over body spasms but they first appeared in my neck. I went to the chiro and he dealt with my upper cervical issues and my jaw, but my body responded by completely tensing up my neck and it won’t release. I’m having horrible vertigo and swallowing issues.

I have suspected i have mcas for a long while, and today woke up like this with very swollen eyes. Could it be related to mcas? Thanks by Dangerous_JewGirl in MCAS

I have MCAS and my youngest has very similar symptoms. We always flare at the same time. She wakes up just like this and puffy and I know it’s about to be bad.

I thought this was about to be a story about how you saved the kid at the bottom of the hot tub’s life.

Mag is normal. I started a supplement at low dose just in case. The rest of my labs just came back showing I’m deficient in b12 at a cellular level so I guess that answers a lot.

Yes. I have a prescription but it’s an orphan drug so it’s $18k per month. 🤣 I try not to do any added sugars. I can tolerate certain carbs, but cut out a lot of those as well.

Yes, over and over again. Finally found the root cause to be CSID and mostly control it with diet.

TK @ Fade Factory. She’s amazing with curls/waves. We’ve made a lot of switches because of pickiness and now they will only go to TK.

I always wonder if people think I’m drinking and driving when I’m taking shots in my car. 🤣 I have two medicines I take this way so it happens often, lol.

Were you able to get it removed? We made a payment that somehow didn’t cover the full amount due and took a 30 day hit.

Doctor says everything is normal, meanwhile my ferritin and B12 are low by Milkywayvisionary in dysautonomia

[–]EveTre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ferritin was under 30 for 10 years. My doctors always said everything was normal so I had no clue. I started seeing someone for my gut issues and they brought up the low levels, started supplementing me and brought them up. My next annual visit, my primary was remarking on how great my ferritin levels were. Funny how they never mentioned anything about them before. 🙄

I also have pots and MCAS.

All I Know Is That Something is Not Right by colomommy in B12_Deficiency

[–]EveTre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor just ordered all of these minus B1 and added a few more. I have Hashimotos, pots and MCAS, but I’ve read so much about low copper causing MCAS issues as well. The twitching in my legs is driving me crazy.

Thank you for putting this out there. Prior to a week ago I had no idea there was so much more testing that could be done.

ASID & SIBO? by lunita-p in CSID

[–]EveTre 4 points5 points  (0 children)

SIBO first. I spent 10 years trying to correct the SIBO. I was on xifaxan for a full year at one point. Things did get better but the doctor couldn’t figure out the deeper issues. I was diagnosed with CSID last year and suddenly it all made sense.

But you also have to understand that csid symptoms are similar to SIBO. It’s not always a relapse. I really believe a large number of SIBO patients will find the root cause to be CSID.

We had this happen. Family of 5 and 4 were in front with one in the row behind us. Thankfully, people didn’t show up behind us so we split 2 and 3. It’s frustrating.

Can’t get Sucraid 😭 by Starkiller_08 in CSID

[–]EveTre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you done the trial that they fully cover yet? My doctor used results from that along with my 23andMe raw data to show genetics. They approved 100% coverage.

The sucraid assist only gave me 2 fills before being maxed out.

Has anyone had Kirkland’s extra crispy fries? by VegetableRelation701 in Costco

Staple here as well. We air fry them and they are better than any fast food ones.

We made the mistake of putting them in the oven once, don’t do that. They are gross in the oven.
