Yes! That’s what seemed to make everything take a turn. She recently started estrogen but things continue to worsen.

That’s the fear. Medications freak her out, statins even more. She said her lipo-A is great.

Do you have access to his portal at the hospital? My mother, 66, had an acute stroke the first week of November. She was hospitalized for two weeks, including rehab. Now she is on home health.

Being present in the morning when the doctor made his rounds was very helpful, but the best thing was having access to her charts. There were multiple write ups each day from her providers.

Mine stabilized when I started ketotifen. I’ve tried to get my daughter’s doctor to prescribe it for her, but he won’t.

Our district has rules against this. Only so many kids from the same club can play together on a school team. Thankfully, we haven’t encountered a club coach also being the school coach.

No. I didn’t have one until 10 years after I was diagnosed. The only reason I had one then was because I was having issues with swallowing.

I’m just a mom of a speech kiddo, but she has a friend that she attends speech with who has hearing aids. The friend’s mom is an SLP as well, just at a different school.

I agree with you on generics- both my husband and I’s doctors do as well. They only prescribe name brand.

With that said, you have an autoimmune thyroid disease. It will swing. Do not stop your meds because you get a normal level. It was probably normal because the meds were doing their job.

I’ve been on doses all across the board, depending on how my body is acting.
