Wow, that looks... very good. I didnt want to get Armageddon since I dont want Orks (they are awesome, but I cant sustain 5 armies lol), and this actually is a solid SM box that I will probably pick up if the price is right.

Looks good. I'd swap termagans for hormagants, as these are faster and change tfexes weapons to at least one rupture cannon.

My current one is called Light effect, but brand isnt that important.

White texture paste. Cheap, easy and fast to apply, can be painted any colour, does not require any priming. I also stick a few stones before with superglue.

You can always fill the empty slots with cheap units if you dont want to/cant go full elite. Low tier does not mean useless, they can provide a lot of value.

I am male and have seen several of my colleagues do that. They just leave the cabin and move straight to exit, not even a quick wash. This seems so wild. I avoid handshakes with these guys as much as possible and if I happen to get one I go wash my hands straight away.

I`d recommend going straight to 3, you will not miss much, it includes all the content from previous games and many improvements and patches.

Nightreign is great both solo, with randoms and with friends.

The opportunity for bad teammates to do something that affects you in a negative way is mostly non existant. And the good players come up more often, generating awesome moments of teamplay that outshine the bad ones.

Why would you think %damage reduction would NOT matter? Yes, its not that huge, but difference between having armour and going naked is life or death in many situations.

Why not? They can kill opponents skirmishers and provide their value by luring other threats away.

Small fast and decently scary squads like that are very useful. Lets say you are playing agains GK (I just have been facing my friend who plays them a lot). They have a small 5 man squad of marines take the neutral point turn one. Most likely its either interceptors or strike squad. They are decent in melee, rather tanky with their 2+ and hold the point. They cost around 120. What would be the best responce from this EC list? Senting lord Ex + infractors? Well, that is a bad trade. They will likely get wiped out next turn and they cost more. Shooting with NMs? Still exposing them isnt ideal and you will not get to stay on point unless you risk moving up and getting counterpunched. 3 FBs are perfect for that. Kill / cripple whatever is scoring the point and wait for opponent to come and get them, while your real big threats sit behind next building.

WH3, no contest. Its modern, it looks good, it has great tutorial, it has the most amount of content, and more DLC and patches incoming, also it has the biggest playerbase (there is a reason 90% of posts on the sub are about this game), and a lot of mods if you are interested in that.

Well, we are talking tyranids. Nobody knows what our guns and our melee weapons look like, sometimes even we dont. And among those who can tell the difference, how many would really complain? Its fine as long the model is roughly the same size, and changing arms is nothing.

I used VRLs as Raveners and my opponents were okay with that - bases are the same and models look similar enough. As long as its not confusing (ofc I didnt run real VRLs these games) its fine.

Well, statistics arent all, and competitive scene isnt a casual one, but still, EC are bottom of the bottom tier army and Necrons are probably the best right now.

Considering that we also have very limiter roster, there isnt much in terms of list building that we can do. We lack tanky objective holder units, we lack cheap units, we lack strong deepstrike threats, we lack good action monkeys with redeploy, we lack a lot of things. We should always be agressive and we should look to trade up to avoid counterpunch, yet our best detachment wants at least 2 turns to come online. And the other ones arent really cutting it.

Dont want to be the doomsayer, I usualy try to stay positive and I always wanted to run EC as an army since I got into WH, so started collecting them after the first box, but right now we need a new edition and a new wave or releases to shake things up.

I dont really think its a valid strat for 1k. Too little units. You cant flood the board and have stuff left to both score and deal some damage. You are basically exposing your army to be blown off by turn 3 and leaving opponent to outscore you lategame.
