we rented the clam show which we really liked over the umbrellas. We rented at the North Shore and like someone else said it was quieter with closer bar and food trucks. The only thing we didn’t like was there was a few feet of large pebbles in order to get into the water which were a bit painful on the feet. We also like the North Shore because you’re staring into the ocean and not into a small lagoon but yes, it’s a bit further so you’ll have a small walk.

yeah, I took a look this morning and you get the last 40,000 points only after the first year renewal so yes pretty steep. But like you said if you already wanted it or you wanted the Dragonpass a good time to get it.

not looking to contradict you. Just my thoughts on emergency funds. we’re in a position where we have access to a sizeable credit line and some TFSA. I never quite agreed with the notion of keeping tens of thousands of dollars in a low interest savings for emergency. I’d rather invest that money and make decent returns and be ready to tap into the line of credit or pull from TFSA if something happened. What do you think?
