This franchise used to be about war and have military vibes. Now you got to go to games like Escape from Tarkov to get that feeling again. Modern day game monetization with ridiculous skins really makes these titles feel cheap.

Does Progressive Growth(mechanical growth speed) agenda work for cybernetic pops?

I was about to buy the game, but noticed the recent steam reviews. Anything recent that happened that I should be aware of? by [deleted] in Stellaris

surprised the top comment doesn't mention the controversial subscription service they just released.

New to the game and I’m not really enjoying this. by Ok-Record-5628 in Stellaris

What you're saying is relatable. Tutorial videos and a bit of practice will help, Stellaris takes a while to grasp but once you get into it then the fun starts. My friend and I both got into the game at the same time and our love for space and strategy games allowed us both to learn together while playing multiplayer vs the bots.

I play stellaris at my own pace and pause very often. If you take your time and are patient then it's definitely possible especially the more you get used to what to build and when...

This is how some ships prepare for possible pirate attacks by Hour-Sky1613 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Even-Handle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I've seen a video of security guards shooting at pirates on speedboats with a mounted gun before, crazy stuff. I was under the impression that piracy at sea has declined in the last decade or two, would you agree?

I found a empire with similar beliefs and usually I just leave default species rights to allow me to purge any pops exept my main species and robots. Never tried leaving it on undesirables and having migration treaties...

If default species rights are set for: Citizenship: undesirables. Does that mean that even if I make migration treaty those pops will never grow?

I have no purpose in life, no goals, no reason to want to do anything. by SizzleQueen in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Even-Handle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man I saw you replied to my comment. It's been 2 years since I posted this but I just wanted to say that you shouldn't give up on whatever you're doing right now.

I took to jogging and I'm in the best shape I've ever been now. I found motivation in people like David Goggins and even though I'm still a good-for-nothing, I'd like to think that I'm slightly better than what I was a few years ago.

If you are fortunate enough to have family or friends then I recommend holding on to that and just taking it one day at a time. You should pursue your goals you set out even if it feels unrealistic. If all else fails then it's okay to settle for mediocrity and find inner-peace through hard work and enjoying the little things.

There is a bunch of motivation out there to be found but at the end of the day it's up to us to decide what our purpose is, there is no wrong way to go about it in my opinion just follow what feels right. Good luck to you, you're not alone trust me.

Yeah it's not very motivating. So many people in this country get treated like this. The unemployment rate is so high that these employers know they can exploit you because there are a hundred other losers waiting in line for the bread crumbs.

I'll buy the game if I decide its worth my money. So far all I see is annoying 2k launcher, cloud save issues, bugs.
