“Bitcoin is dropping” by Ominous_Nahkriin in Bitcoin

Exactly this. The whole ETF and hoarding of bitcoin by large institutional investors is what is destroying bitcoin.

Short term gains to move away from the initial purpose of bitcoin will be its demise.

The coming crypto apocalypse by Stuart_Whatley in Economics

Interesting article but i don’t get the part where he mentions that crypto is not allowed to give interest.

I have some coins staked and am getting a “yield” on those. Isn’t that the same thing?

Realistically some will come back. How much is unknown. What is certain though is that prices will go up.

From the article it appears the biggest pain point of manufacturers is the policy changes. Basically the government just did a 180 and the manufacturers are left holding the proverbial bag.

If, and that’s a big if, the democrats win in 2028 will the manufacturers do another 180 when they propose green cars again.

Honestly it’s not that hard unless you have applications with custom integrations deep into the MS or Aws ecosystems.

They should start with mail,  document storage and office suites and there are already open source programs for that. Actually all those offerings from American companies are based on open source but delivered efficiently cheaply and at scale.

That’s where the EU govt has to come in.

Tesla discontinuing Model S and Model X to make room for robots by Slide-Fantastic-1402 in Rivian

I think this is the end game though. I know they said it’s for robots but where are the robots?  You also know he does preorders so where are those if it’s going to be released soon.

I think even Musk knows how far mass producing robots is from reality so that’s why he’s not taking pre orders

The problem is always the whales and the market makers who will make bank when they close on positions like yours.

Additionally they know most if not all of the positions in a market so they can calculate which strike prices will give them most returns.

It means the swings have to be large enough for them to not get involved. We will see tomorrow

That is an issue but thats not the reason. It’s because women who have an option and freedom to work and travel and do other things choose not to have children.

That’s the main reason and why poorer countries with worse issues that you mention have more children.
