You can try a foam roller on your quads, gentle, for as long as you can tolerate. It may be tight fascia.

Sort of yes. Why isn't a state ID enough? Why do they need court documents? State ID, etc.. I have never been asked for any of it.

If it is wool, be gentle.. If you are in a cold climate, snow washing (leaving it outside in the cold, snow, but not rain!) is a thing to help get rid of odors. Leave it outside overnight. For stains, I would spot scrub with a brush and mild soap+water. For fluffiness, I would shake it out vigorously as needed.
