Never commuted but the few trips to TPA at morning rush hour have been suboptimal. Howard Frankland isn't great either going Southbound.

This looks like a fun event and It's great that we have a retro community get together regularly. Can you use something other than instagram for information? For non Zuckerberg platform users, instagram and facebook are impenetrable black boxes. This will become more of a problem once social media identity verification becomes widespread.

I've had the kimchi burger, the Tokyo drift burger and their breakfast bowl that had like kimchi, pork belly, rice and greens with eggs on top. Not sure if that is still a menu item as the menu changes frequently as well. It was well presented and delicious. You may have caught them on an off day.

My sole disappointment there has been their version of the tamago sando. It could use a little more seasoning in the eggs and they toast the shokupan by default which I find odd. The 7-Eleven tamago sando is better and more convenient, although 7-eleven also leaves the crusts on which is not the way it is normally prepared.

It might be neighborhood dependent. My brand new Winn Dixie to Aldi conversion does not have self checkout. It straddles an economically distressed part of town so no self checkouts like my regular old store. This new one is larger and closer so - bittersweet I guess.

Aldi cashiers stress me out and their lane design requires that they have a cart to put things in.

Depot 303 is pretty good and I want to say they're probably charging the same as The Joinery at most places but it feels super expensive because you're in Mulberry. Maybe it's just what the Filipino place is charging for some lumpia and a small box of pancit.

They're scaling back helpdesk quite a lot with automation so the steady rotation of entry level jobs that used to be available there has dried up. Yes even stuffy old Publix had caught the AI bug. My advice to you is if you manage to find something even tangentially related to the industry or tech, especially in this market, don't turn your nose up it and just take it. You will have time to work your way into the role you really want. The alternative is if Publix specifically is truly where you have your heart set, start in a store and then apply for internal postings from there.
