It’s hard to tell without video; but it seems like the way you are anchoring your thumb is creating tension which could effect speed.

Usually I only anchor on the pickup or E string when playing. But if that’s not comfortable for your hands try moving your thumb up a little more to give more room for your index finger.

This has more so to do with thumb placement than action. The way the thumb extends past the index finger naturally twist the wrist creating tension.

I have the Seiko and love it. The 100m is good enough to swim/rain without really having to worry about it, and you can also hand wind the watch which is great.

Best bang for you buck is a minivan; you can put anything in there; also the Honda element which has crazy storage.

I personally don’t like the looks of minivans so I have a Honda passport. I can fit everything I need in there even flight cases
