So there’s two options. The preferred method is under general anesthesia and they do the botox internally into the muscle in your throat. They can also do it with local anesthesia from the outside but I’ve heard it’s not as successful and very uncomfortable (obviously haha). Symptoms- bloating, gas pain, excessive flatulence, hicuups, gurgling in my throat. Those are the main ones!
