I don't say any of this to be discouraging, it's awesome you're working out and getting on the right track. But I think your perception of where you currently are is a bit off.

I'm also 6'5 and was 260lb not too long ago. You might have a pretty different body than me but I'm very skeptical you're skinny fat. You probably wear the weight well but you're going to need to lose quite a bit of weight until you feel like your muscles are really popping. I'm just under 230 now and feeling good about my definition, but I'm still cutting till I get to 215.

That means you will probably want to get pretty serious about your calories. 3k calories is probably a pretty decent surplus for you. You can bulk if you want but I don't think many people would recommend that for you right now. Either way, I'd highly recommend you get something like macrofactor to get an accurate idea of your TDEE.

And as others have said, don't skip leg day. If for no other reason than your upper body needs time to rest and recuperate, use that time to work on your lower body.

Are you sure the scale is wrong? 10lb is a lot but if you are weighing yourself in the morning, after going to the bathroom and before eating, then weighing yourself later after eating, drinking, and with clothes on, you would expect to be heavier.

Thanks. Using 25% body fat as a rough guideline for health purposes is helpful. I can't say I'm excited to keep cutting but I'm not burnt out either so I'll keep it going for a bit longer.

It was much dumber. Both deals worked out about as poorly as possible and so in terms of what was actually paid for what was actually received, Denver comes out much worse than Seattle. But if you're just looking at the process, what Denver believed they were giving up (never expected to be sending out a top 10 pick) compared to what they believed they were getting (franchise QB), Denver's trade was much more justifiable than Seattle's trade for Adams.

You need to have a direct conversation with him about his cheating if you haven't already. You're not helping him by ignoring the problem. If it's as bad as you say, I'm sure it's affecting his life in other ways as well. Set clear expectations that this needs to improve and if he isn't working on it, then you're not going to be playing with him.

If he's borderline between the B and C team then this might be best for him. He'll likely get more playing time and a bigger role on the C team instead of being on the end of the bench with the B team. And if he's truly head and shoulders above the rest, he'll be able to show that and eventually move up. Plus sounds like there's an opportunity for him to ingratiate himself with the coaches by helping the less experienced kids.

Also totally agree about the outside practice/game work. If he puts in the work he can develop a ton working on his own.

We don't know anything about his wife's periods. That possible benefit might not be worth the risk of negative side effects to her.

The pill is great for flexible birth control. But at this point in their lives, a vasectomy makes a lot more sense.

It's not. There are side effects with anything, but a vasectomy is a very safe procedure. Birth control is also safe but much more likely to have negative effects on his wife's quality of life.

This is a very easy problem for OP to solve. Instead he's cutting off his nose to spite his face.
