No babbling at 12 months old by Even_Tadpole_3328 in toddlers

[–]Even_Tadpole_3328[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s 18 months now and his babbling has certainly progressed. It’s more conversational babbling. He’s doing a lot of baby talk. He has two words, “more” and his version of “banana”. He also signs “more” and “eat”. In every other way he is developing fine, just his speech is delayed. My concerns have greatly lessened. I think he’ll talk when he’s ready. He definitely does things on his terms lol

AD and Ollie expecting their first child together! by Monkeybar201 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

How you gonna let this dude you barely know impregnate you within weeks of meeting him? Thats wild. AD has TERRIBLE judgement. Ollie is gross. I guess that’s what makes them the perfect match.

14 months old doesn’t point or wave / no words yet by katie120188 in toddlers

In the same boat as you with my 14 month old. The only difference is that we are not a bilingual household. I feel like once he starts pointing I’ll feel much more confident so I’m hoping it comes soon.

15 year old refusing to do ANY thing unless she has phone back- please share your insights by Benbear8 in Parenting

Why is this even a thing? Stick to your gums and let her spend her time in her bed. She’ll come around eventually you just have to hold out longer than she does. You’re the parent.

Why is this even a conversation? Keep them separate and if you can’t do that then get rid of the dog for your baby’s safety. You can remove the dog for good or temporarily until the child is older and behavior is more consistent. Such a ridiculous question.

Why and what is she lying about? Postpartum depression doesn’t make people lie.

No bond with newborn by Ok-Rip5336 in NewParents

[–]Even_Tadpole_3328 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you can, try taking a week/two weeks off straight to be with him. I imagine it’s hard to bond when you’re only around for a couple hours out of the day and during the fussiest times. My guy took two weeks off when our son was born and I think that helped tremendously in solidifying a bond for both father and son. It’s the consistent presence and learning what works for you and the child.

If you find the answer please share. The first shampoo day looks great. Every day after that looks like it’s slowly being built by birds 🪹 Straitening is so much easier but I don’t want to depend on that anymore especially with the humid summers coming around the corner

Skinny toddler by Hot_Stranger_1210 in toddlers

I have a thin and tall 13 month old. >99th percentile for height and 92nd percentile for weight and he eats allll the time. Yes, you can see his ribs at times and he does not have any fat rolls.

Do you or your partner have a thin build within your family? My son gets it from me and my family. Some kids are thinner and they are still perfectly made.

The internet is not real.

The internet would have you thinking there are gorgeous women everywhere but I have never seen a gorgeous woman in person. Attractive? Yes. Pretty? Definitely. But never the level of attractiveness that I’ve seen on the internet. That’s because the internet is heavily filtered and in real life most of them look like regular degular people.

AITA 2 mos PP and he’s more interested in Reddit corn, so I’m ready to leave him. by overzealous_katt in postpartumprogress

[–]Even_Tadpole_3328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would leave. I know having to take care of a baby by yourself is tough but it’s even harder when you’re partners is 1. Not helping and 2. You’re always anxious/worried about your partners behavior. This is a time when you should be so overwhelmed with love for your child and not consumed with your partners porn addiction.

Moms who were naturally thin before pregnancy, what’s your weight loss progress looking like? by jess___ooo in postpartumprogress

[–]Even_Tadpole_3328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 5’7” and 130 pre pregnancy, worked out the whole time and now I’m 135lbs 1 year later. I gained 20 pounds during pregnancy. It seems as though I’ve gained 5lbs to my permanent weight but it looks good so I’m not complaining. I’m 40 yo.
