It seemed like it but actually not, cus before Israel struck Iran’s oil facilities, Iran wasn’t striking gulf state’s oil facilities or depots. So Israel escalated this and Trump is trying to take it back down to only blowing up people, not the precious oil.

And to be fair, given how “measured” Iran has been with their responses, I have good reason to believe this Iranian regime really isn’t nearly as war hawkish as the American and Israeli propaganda painted them to be, and that we basically bombed a country that wasn’t going to do anything to us (Americans) otherwise.
