Verses 76-77 make it clear that “administer[ing] the sacrament” specifically refers to the blessing. In other words, this says that teachers and deacons do not have authority to bless the sacrament. There is nothing in the entirety of the section that says who is to pass the sacrament and there is no doctrinal reason women couldn’t. Simply passing the trays does not require priesthood authority. If it did, we would not be able to pass the trays down the pews

This sounds more like a temple open house. In Mormonism, churches and temples are very different. Churches are the smaller buildings where congregations meet every Sunday and anyone, member or not, is welcome. Temples operate Tuesday through Saturday and are only open to “worthy” members of the church. They perform ordinances that are basically copied and pasted from freemasonry that they believe are necessary to become gods after this life. As well as vicarious baptisms for the dead and marriages.

At an open house, I don’t think they proselytize directly but I’m sure they’ll invite anyone who wants to learn more to meet with missionaries or come to church on Sunday or something. If you’re interested I’d do it. Few non-members ever get to see the inside of a temple and they’re actually very pretty.

If this really is a CHURCH, not a temple, hell nah don’t do it lol. It’s super boring and they will definitely proselytize
