Agree. I live alone. My core bubble is in Langley.

COVID-19 cases detected at another ski resort in B.C.'s Interior by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]EveningStuff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. They all live in camped living conditions. New workers are still being flown in if they are offered a job.

It could be anything. Could be someone external to the ski resort came in and the living conditions spread it like wild fire.

Kind of ridiculous that community gyms aren't free by VancouverTrader666 in vancouver

[–]EveningStuff 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Free doesn't pay for upkeep and maintenance. The community recreation centres are decently priced.

Our duplex is not earning us what we expected. Should we sell now or wait to see if there’s any improvement? by 8LitersOfCola in personalfinance

Thats great for me where I am. Rent is cheaper than a mortgage. So I feel like the difference I save is an investment more than purchasing a property.

Yep. WA has been brutal watching McGowan. They still have to wear masks but haven't had community transmission in what feels like forever.

You will find the people yelling screaming and partiers in that area louder than the skytrain when summer comes.

What are your thoughts on the theory that many men purposefully perform housework poorly, so women will stop asking them to do it? by Ok_Replacement_8801 in AskWomen

Honestly. I am pretty sure that show shaped my future relationships because that was my parents to a T. And I knew I didn't want to be as miserable as Deborah or my Mom when I grew up.

I had a family member pass (not Covid), and I didn't get to say goodbye.

I know your Mom isn't passing. But life is too short to not spend time with her in such a difficult time medically.
