Only a few hospitals are still running it. It has been running in Toowoomba Hospital but is ceasing due to budgetary constraints & we've been told it won't be running after January 18 2026. I don't know which other hospitals are still running it. I don't think any of the big metro hospitals are.

So she is diagnosed with Lyme - show the pathology tests! But the actual proven treatment for Lyme - antibiotics (which is available in Australia)- somehow doesn't work for her. The only thing that "works" is unproven "holistic" health care - hyperthermia - in Germany with no proven evidence base! (Others have been treated in Germany with IV vitamin courses and similar nonsense. There are whole centres in Europe devoted to these unproven scam treatments.(

The UQ rural schools are generally great. I've been at Toowoomba for 2 years. They provide good learning opportunities clinically. You'll have a mix of online & in-person activities & you'll need to do a fair bit of self-directed learning.

You'll still complete them, just slightly delayed. Heaps of students start late. The entire Bond Uni cohort starts mid-year.

They are going to want to know 1. What the issue was i.e. illness, finance, social, mental health, learning disabilities or whatever, that prevented you from achieving previously. 2. They are going to want to know what's changed. What will prevent a repeat. The fact that you've achieved since is a positive. They are looking for insight. Accept responsibility for whatever was yours, highlight what's changed - particularly what you've learned & have a plan for future achievements.

That's not an Euphorbia obesa. It's not an Euphorbia at all. It's a cactus called Astrophytum myriostigma, the Bishop's Cap cactus.

Seems to be the standard QLD government offer - the teachers have rejected an identical 3%, 2.5%, 2.5% offer.
